October is Ruby's month, so I had to draw something. I haven't gotten the chance to draw in months, so I wanted to do something simple to get back into it.

Season's greetings all! It's been a really busy year and I haven't done too much art. I didn't even make good on my requests for the anniversary (as many people have messaged me to let me know), which is unfortunate, and I have to apologize to everyone who's hopes I raised. But, I'm happy I had time to do a nice piece for the holidays, and I hope to continue on into the next year and further. Woohoo!

October 13th, 2006 was when Ruby Gloom first aired as a cartoon in Canada. Technically this isn’t when Ruby Gloom actually started. Martin Hsu celebrated that years ago, which of course is most personal to him. I’d say the 10 year cartoon Gloomiversary still calls for a celebration! I actually got into this show fairly late, as you can tell if you dig into my archive. I don’t know what lies in the future, but I am glad this show was created and I could enjoy it.
