Ykw this blog kinda thing is the best place for me to ramble about my weird feelings about sollux because, I have feelings about that character and I’m not actually sure if they’re an original experience or not. Thinking about him a lot in relation to the possible blog in making about him, yk brainstorming and whatnot but it always comes back to this for me.

I’m sure because of the absurdity of troll culture and like the idea of sollux as a whole Andrew hussie wasnt writing him thinking ‘hey someones gonna relate to this in their weirdly unique way’ but that can be a thing with any character, whenever I get like obsessed with hs again I always come back to him because I freaked out reading his descript sometimes.

Hearing of a character with double vision, even if it doesn’t present the same as mine. Made me really fucking happy, I have diplopia which is like a common enough? Strain of double vision, I’ve had if my whole life. I thought it was normal my whole life.

I also have a rare genetic mutation that thankfully didn’t present in a way that would impact my ability to socialise, as in it is usually very extreme.

I also, grew up with a lisp.

I got lucky on that front but I never expected to see a character with even similar traits to me, so seeing one like that it’s like. Woah what the fuck, that exists? That’s like a thing someone thought to write? It blew my fucking miiind.
