Once he saw Olivia making her way in his direction, he immediately diverted his eyes. “Olivia! Hi!” Fitz chirped, feigning surprise. “Sure, what do you have for me?”

She made her way out the door guiding him as they walked before turning to him and looking into his eyes sternly. “i’ve been noticing how you’re looking at me lately, and while i’d love to say i’m flattered, you are my boss and i am working for you. it’s inappropriate. it can’t happen.” she nodded at him as if asking if he understood.

Flustered, Fitzgerald blushed. ”I’ve been looking at you like a man who’s attracted to a beautiful woman, Ms.Pope. I’m not the only one looking. “because the way you are looking at me is different” she scolded him, “and you still don’t act affectionate enough towards mellie for the campaign, you absolutely cannot look at me that way because if people notice it will ruin your chances at winning this election and it will ruin my career as well. control it, governor grant.”

Putting his hands up in surrender, he agreed. “Fine, Fine. I’ll stop looking when you can see me.”

olivia couldn’t help but smile at him and shake her head. “you really are a piece of work, governor.”

as her eyes met his she stared back into them momentarily and then took a deep breath. “alright then, back to work.” she turned on her heel and returned into the room where all of the interns were working.

Staring at her gorgeous smile, Fitz shook himself out of his daydream. “Thanks, Livvie. I could’t have done it without you.”

against her better judgement and without hesitation she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his neck giving him the biggest, warmest hug he’d ever received. “you are going to be a GREAT president.”

Fitz felt a jolt of actual pleasure going through his body as he felt her tiny arms wrap around his body. He could have rolled his eyes back in his head at how good her arms felt around his body. ”I’ll only be great because of you, Ms.Pope. You’re really amazing.”
