RULES AND INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION (Yes there's a lot said but I don't need people being mean when I can just explain stuff here. I've run a competition before and it didn't go well, and I partially blame my own lack of communication, so I'd rather avoid that.):
1. This list is up to date as of May 10th 2025, since I know the game updates all the time, but I can't keep updating the competition everytime a new monster is added to the game. Also, every vote will be one day long, except for maybe the last vote! That part is still up in the air.
2. I've combined the commons, rares, and epics (excluding the wubboxes) because they have the same sounds, just different designs. This not only made things easier for me, but also significantly shortens the competition. this said however, I did still match monsters based on if they were only commons, or if they also had rares and/or epics. For example, all the natural monsters (excluding Mimic) all have rares and epics, so they can be matched up, but no magical monsters have epics so they could not be matched up with any natural monsters. This will obviously not stay through the entire competition as the numbers get smaller, but I at least wanted it to start that way.
3. Keep in mind however that the math did not line up perfectly for each group to stay within its own group, for example I had to match up Mimic and Lowb because Mimic was an odd number from the other natural monsters, and Lowb is the only primordial monster as of writing this. There will be a few likely confusing pairs like this, but I tried to make them as fair as I could subjectively make them. I will make it known when it comes to those pairs that they're an odd pair.
4. I also combined the baby and adult versions of the Dawn of Fire monsters into one vote, but I did not combine the old celestials with their baby and adult counterparts, since they're still in separate games.
5. If the matchups seem random or nonsensical to you, it's cause I mostly went off of the order that the monsters were listed on the wiki, with few changes from that order if I felt like I could make it make a little bit more sense, but I tried not to for the most part.
6. I need to make it known here and now that this bracket has a few unconventional things going on. The total number of monsters wasn't enough for it to be a perfect bracket amount, but I had to try to not exclude any monsters at the same time. I have done my best to make it work.
7. And last but not least, please please please be nice, both to the monsters and to each other! This is all for fun and is meant to be about what we love, so please don't spread hate! There's no need to take something that's meant to be positive and turn it into a misery fest <3
