fuinn is such an interesting relationship dynamic to me. like yes they obviously were not going to be endgame and were very much a short-term couple, but its clear they really did love each other. they kept getting drawn back to eachother and i think thats because of the depth behind both quinn and finns characters. they both crave comfort and go back to each other because ultimately their comfort is their status and feeling loved by popularity which they both have when they are together and not affiliated with the glee club. they feel so validated by popularity because deep down they are both lonely and crave real connections like their friends in the glee club. they were toxic but i do think they have a very nice platonic bond and some genuine cute scenes as a ship and are very representative of an actual high school couple. i could yap about them MUCHHH more..but maybe i will save that for another post

theyre a lot like nate and blair or fiyero and glinda in that way. they loved each other but forced that into romantic love because thats whats expected of them

finn and marley parallels. FINN AND MARLEY PARALLELS. finn saw himself in marley. marley was sort of a leader to the new directions like he was (she was labelled as the new rachel and probably felt pressure to live up to that, plus she was just a super grounded person who always tried to prevent drama and keep everyone friendly). they both blamed themselves for a loss of a competition - finn with nationals when him and rachel kissed, marley with sectionals when she passed out. finn knew that wasnt her fault and knew what it felt like to have everyone blaming you. marley and finn both canonically struggle financially - finn talks about not having enough money to buy rachels christmas present, marleys mother doesnt buy her christmas presents in order to be able to afford a therapist. marleys mom stitched labels of popular stores into her sweater so marley could fit in. ultimately, finn wanted to fit in and be popular. they both grew up with single mothers and no father figure. they both had body issues and were bodyshamed consistently throughout the show. they both were cheated on by their love interests and felt betrayed. they literally even look similar. they both have little awkward dances. they even smile the same sometimes. so yes this is my proof they are siblings.
