Think Gideon Malick. You ask most Marvel fans who the hell he is and they'll probably say they don't know. You ask them if they remember the guy from the first Avengers film who sent a nuke at New York, and they'll be like "oh! That bitch!"

Malick is a character everyone knows but they don't know his name, the guy the fandom pokes fun at (for good reason), and yet this guy who was so willing to blow up millions of people is never expanded upon in the movies

But AoS does. They take this minor character and create a story for him. A story that not only fits perfectly with what he wanted to do in "Avengers", but also fits with the lore they've created. It all works so so well

They do this with their own characters, too. Piper and Davis were mere background characters in s3 with a line or two, but by s6, you have an absolutely gut wrenching scene where (SPOILERS) Piper is forced to watch as Izel kills Davis

The writers are just so smart with all of this. They know how to take existing characters and expand their roles in the show (Marvel Disney+ shows could NEVER) as well as make original ones who start out small and make them into a big deal by the end

He still abandoned them

He let them down, broke promises, scarred them and then left them with two kids who are both canonically Percy’s age and younger in charge.

And as much as we love Conner and Travis they shouldn’t have had to be running the largest cabin by themselves especially when that cabin—who is family—just went through a massive trauma because of Luke.

Not to mention what Luke did to their reputations. He made the cabin that welcomes in the unclaimed and the minor demigods untrustworthy, even 4 years after he left Travis and Conner and the rest of Hermes cabin are still being accused of being traitors.

Luke loved Annabeth, he loved Thalia, he loved the kids he took care of in Hermes. He loved them enough to leave to make what he thought would be a better life for them. But he didn’t love them enough to stay.

The whole lily just being a surrogate BOILS my blood bc she was a mother not some pawn for two gay men and im tired of people just seeing her as just a way to get regulus to be a parent. Lets be honest he would NOT be a good dad idc the same for sirius tbh they both have shit they need to work through.

Don't even bring the whole jegulus + lily ship i hate it just as much, Lily wouldn't go near someone who would call her slurs.

The point is yes regulus COULD be gay, But he can be gay with literally anyone else AND give the women more content thats outside of ships, I need more headcanons about Marlene, Dorcas, Mary and everyone else (in the Marauders era and Golden trio and after/before both) I'm tired of trying to find content for them and it either smut or _____ surrogate.

We could see Luke becoming this important hero for the rebels as he learns in the force, Han turning into the General Solo that he is on Empire Strikes Back and Leia leading the Rebellion. I don’t know, I feel like there is potential there to do something genuinely good and explore relationships and characters that the films could had done better justice and had to be developed in book and novels.

We already have Rebels (which is the my favourite Star Wars series) but, if you’re going to bring back the original trio, that’s the my favourite way to do it without using CGI faces or creating new storylines after Return of the Jedi.

i think the exploration of Luke, Leia and Han's friendship would be really cool to see develop since you're kinda only told that they are and become really good friends between ANH and ESB but don't actually see them interact in such a way for all that long in the films. So it'd be nice to see them go from strangers to 'you're my closest friends and I will face down Darth Vader himself to save you from harm'.

Disney needs to stop relying on cgi and cameos ie just using the face of the characters to bait you into watching their shit and removing all life and personality from said characters (cough cough I'm looking at you cgi Luke in book of boba fett) and they end up just loosing all the things that make that character lovable.

If they want to use lovable characters then actually explore something new and different with their character and their story. Disney has shown they can put time and effort into making a show actually enjoyable (eg Andor, Rebels, Mandalorian (although only seasons 1&2 (for me at least)), they just need to stop making shit for the sake of making it.

The potencial is right there, everyone already loves the characters and we could forget about the CGI faces that should just be recasted if they want to keep using the characters (but that’s a hole different discussion).

Theres so much potential!! it would add so much more value to their friendships by the beginning of ESB or even if they did some episodes in between ESB and ROTJ would add some weight to Han's capture and the emotions behind that. I know they explore it in some of the comics but it'd be great to see it in the hypothetical show situation.

It's really interesting though, I was watching some behind the scenes footage of The Book of Boba Fett and the body double they used for Luke looked so much like him!! I mean the CGI was great and all but at that point I was like why don't you just cast this guy?? or someone new?? because you loose a lot of subtle emotion of expression through CGI and of course its really expensive so they cut down on character screen time and so its ultimately not very satisfying.

The actor that plays Luke with the CGI looks so much like Mark Hamill on ANH he could perfectly be Luke on the new series and Carrie Fisher’s daughter already played young Leia on the sequels, maybe she doesn’t look exactly like her but, if she wants to, feels like the perfect person to play her. And they recasted Han, so it makes total sense to recast everyone if they want to keep using them on live-action.
