Stan playing the knight role in The Stick Of Truth, the very knight that is devoted to his king (Kyle) roughly translates to me: " i'll do anything for you if you ask me of it. And even if you won't, i'll still do it, because I know it's something you would've asked me of ". He really never hesitating when it comes to Kyle. Especially when Kyle is in danger, he doesnt hesitate in anything, to go beyond morality (that he doesn't have as much as Kyle does) just to save Kyle (when he tries to steal Cartman's kidney, since it's a match for Kyle's). He's Kyle's protector, always has been, always protecting him from everything that puts him into danger, because he cares about him too much not to. And also because the thought of loosing him terrifies him to no ends, so he'll do anything in his power to save and protect his best friend.
important to note that when stan was reading the top three boys in The List, this was their following reactions:
stan did not smile once despite being top 3 because he was ALREADY wondering where kyle's name was placed and why was it not anywhere near the top
