Thank you for the Summer!
As children up and down the country flock back to school, the days become shorter and the weather that little bit colder, we at Mr Singhs just wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to you all for a truly fantastic summer! The last few months have seen scorching temperatures, the Tour de France (which went right passed Mr Singh’s HQ!), and the England Women’s Rugby Team bringing home the World Cup! But for Mr Singh’s especially this summer has been particularly fantastic, our busiest and best yet! We saw the release of our (pretty awesome) Mr Singh’s T-Shirts, the Top Gear Boys struggling with the heat in our BBQ Chilli Sauce and on July 22nd we celebrated in true style as Popa Singh turned 60! We were photographed for the Somerset House Exhibition, where Popa Singh later met the Prime Minister at the Home Business Summit, we constructed a cracking array of new recipes and most exciting of all? We were invited to10 Downing Street as a guest to advice on small businesses working with larger retailers! So, between lots of Bank Holiday Barbecues, City Pantry in Kensington Olympia (a great opportunity for us since we launched our catering initiative, getting Mr Singh’s on the road and into an office near you!) & The Great British Family Fayre last weekend we’ve barely stepped out of the kitchen, not that we’d have it any other way of course! They say that time flies when you’re having fun and for us that this has certainly been the case, the Summer has gone by in a flash, but we like to be kept on our toes and absolutely wouldn’t change a thing! When we look back to the days of making Mr Singh’s in the family kitchen and remember the struggle we had a the beginning, we can really appreciate how far we have come. With that in mind we wanted to take a brief moment to mention and thank all the independent retailers who have given us the opportunity to be sold in their shops and who have actively supported us by promoting our sauces to their customers! We know that if it hadn’t been for the support of all of you, both retailers and customers alike, that our dreams would not have come true, and so from everyone here at Mr Singh’s, we just wanted to say, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, not just for amazing summer, but for everything.
