we have fanfic writers feeding us content that helps boost ships / a kpop idol’s individual fanbase.

we have the fansites who provide us with hq photos of k-idols, spending time, money and effort to buy high quality cameras to take the best pictures possible.

we have artists, talented artists who help us create content; posters, icons, gifs etc.

we have people who are willing to use their position / money to buy advertisments spots to showcase or k-idols on advertisment boards in subways or airplanes or new york times square.

we have organised groups on social media platforms to translate texts. we have colourcodedlyrics and more, to gives us accurate translations of lyrics.

we have another group of skilled, humourous fans who put together compliation videos so that it is easier for us to watch our idols.

as much as we exist because of the idols, i think we should also give ourselves some credit that we really are giving so much support to our favourites. although, yes, there are many problems like whitewashing, fanwars, hating, underaged smut etc, for those of you who are respectful and mature, and sincerely show love and respect to every single idol out there:
