In an effort to keep our love of art alive while away from the art studio, Sara and I have decided to spend each night appreciating a different form of art. Monday’s are poetry, and tonight she discovered this poem. She connected with it on a deep level and I figured it may be something students would connect with.

Interesting tattoos. You design any of them?
Thanks… not design per se but they were my idea… can’t draw to save my life but my tattooist is pretty amazing… Don’t think we’ve met. Alex Lysher, self defense instructor. Nice to meet you.

Hmm maybe she could see if the school nurses need any help, if she grows bored outside of spending time with you in class, Sir?
It’s normal to be curious. You needn’t apologize - had I have been offended I would have told you it was none of your business.
If that is something she desires we will discuss it. Sara realizes this position is only temporary, though, and her her boss is holding her position until we return.

Good afternoon, Mr. Luke!! Miami is beautiful! I wish you and Sara were here - I’m positive she would love it here!!!
Are you both finding everything you need in Seabrook okay? I’m sorry that I didn’t have time to give you a tour of the town before I left.

I promise I will, Mr. Luke. You know how much I love seeing Sara smile, and her adventurous heart loves all the photographs I take. I’m glad that staying on campus has been good for both of you - have you been to the beach yet? I’d love to show you both around! I don’t know many places that are interesting but there’s a Mexican restaurant - Casa Tequila - that has food that’s to die for! Then again, mom might want the both of you to stop by the house. Oh!!! OH!!! You guys need to see Anna too! I’ve missed Sara as well. I mean - we’ve skyped.. but it’s nice to have both of you here to spend time with. Feels a bit more like home now.
Still a soft spot for her after all these years, hmm kitten Calliope? It has been enjoyable. No, that’s on our agenda for tomorrow. Today was a bit rainy and just not good beach weather overall so I showed her the art studio where I will be teaching classes and we found a pottery class in town to attend together. A Mexican restaurant? If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were trying to win Sara’s heart over again. We must make a night of it when you return. Perhaps you and Sara could even have one of your sleepovers - Sara would be overjoyed to have a night with you. Ah yes, Miss Annalissa. It’s been what.. three years since we’ve seen her? Something like that. We would love to see her again.

I imagine it must be. You should take some photographs for Sara - you know how much she enjoys you showing her photos of places you’ve been. As much as we would have wished to join you.. staying on campus has proved to be good for us. We are able to explore and settle in properly. I think we’ve managed to find everything we need to know about, though if you’d like to give us a grand tour upon your return we would enjoy exploring the town with you. Sara has missed you greatly.

How did she take the move? Does she work at all, or does she just tend to your house, Sir? (Sorry if I’m being too nosy, Sir.)
You are being nosy, but I understand and I appreciate your interest in the dynamics of a Dominant/submissive Claim such as my own. The decision to move to Seabrook was one we made jointly - I value my Sara’s opinion highly and had she have told me she’d rather stay in Boston and keep our life as it was I would have done just that. In Boston she was a nurse at a doctor’s office. Part-time nurse and her free time was to care of the house. Here in Seabrook she will attend my classes with me for half the day and then spend time doing whatever she would like to do for the other half of the day (as long as she follows our rules).

It was quite the adventure, and the smile it brought to my Sara’s face was well worth the trip. Sara is a traveler by nature, if we had the funds she would prefer a new trip every month.

So you’re into photography as well, Sir? And she’s very pretty! Ten years seems so long, did you do anything special when you had your ten year anniversary, Sir?
I am, yes. It’s not my favorite medium but with a subject as beautiful to capture as my Sara, I find that it’s something I do enjoy doing. Sara sends her thanks for the compliment. Ten years may seem like a long time but it goes by in the blink of an eye. We did, yes. We saved for years to finally have the honeymoon Sara always dreamed of - a week in Cyprus.

Well, really, an outlet does not have to be something that you are good at. It simply has to be something you enjoy doing that makes you feel good/proud/accomplished.
