Before I say anything else about last night I wanna thank the legend @helluva313 for taking the Detroit Sound all over the world. It’s been 3 years since I seen the big homie. Much Love and Respect! @djdrama Thanks for this photo! My boy @wardskillz knows it’s been a long time coming for this! No doubt in my mind I felt the homie Perm’s spirit in the building last night. I started this camera shit showing up to rap shows in 2007 w/ lbs of weed in the trunk and a mini dv video camera in my hand just trying to shoot footage of homies that rapped! Shot out to @sw_glenn … yeah I just wanted to say that. Anyways, my homie Big Perm aka Chubby Chase was signed to Aphilliates Music Group and that’s when I seen how big this could be just following him around and shooting content. I was put in the same room as @jonathanjelks @thewilliethekid @headdebiase @ceolad @jayfab_vs_theworld and so many others and it rewired my brain to think bigger than my situation. Perm passed away and that was the catalyst I needed to put the packs down, leave Lansing, get serious, and come home to Detroit where I later attended @specshoward and the rest is history! I had a vision of this very moment years ago w/ Perm in the picture but it took 15 years for me to get Drama in front of me for this photo! A lot of blood sweat, tears, and lonely nights have gone into getting me this far and Covid had me on the verge of quitting altogether. It’s been tough but this journey has been well worth it because everything I’ve ever envisioned has become a reality, not in my time but on God’s time! Making the move to EDM was the best decision I ever made but I never forget where I’m rooted. To those that I lost along the way, this photo is for you, and as my dad would say Shit Don’t Stop Til The Casket Drop!
