Here’s the moon January 31, 2018. Im on the wrong coast to have witnessed the blood moon, but I did get this nice cloudy image.

The neighborhood barred owl. It doesn’t come around often, but we love when it does! I took this photo on a Sony C3 mirrorless camera with the 210mm zoom lens.

We’ve had some pretty cold then warm then back again weather and things are melting and freezing pretty quickly. The whole yard was a frozen wonderland, this is the hydrangea tree. I took this photo with a Sony A7II using the kit lens.

I make my own patterns, adjust vintage patterns, or use existing clothing I have as a starting point. I will post the process on each piece as I go.

The New Years moon, it was bold and bright, but my view was blocked by trees. I waited until the temperature plummeted to subzero before I could get out there with my (sons) telescope and my ancient Sony Nex-C3 attached. This was my best shot, after lots of fumbling with frozen fingers.

My sons second birthday party was space themed. Here are the cupcakes made by my sister. They tasted amazing and looked magnificent. I'll do a big post with all the decor and crafts I did for the party! I just had to share these!!

When the moon is so bright and full, it’s hard not to take pictures! Trying out different settings, and the third one, I did a little Photoshop enhancement for the highlights and shadows.

I have been trying to capture a good shot of the moon, I am still learning to use my Sony NEX camera. (It’s only been 3 years since I got...) The first photo is my favorite. The last two were from a super moon, unfortunately, I was too tired to stay up to wait for it to be above the tree line.
