Shrimp Fantasy

 The Tenshouin family throwing a party for their only son’s birthday was a normal occurrence, his parents made sure the doctors were paying extra attention to his health when a party was coming. So when his parents proposed, it wasn’t a choice, a party for his 20th birthday he didn’t pay much mind to it, adjusting his schedule for the Q&A with his fans to end earlier so their times didn’t clash and making sure everyone in the agency knew about it.

Of course, not rising suspicion was what got him into this precarious situation. First some closer businnes associates made their way towards him, congratulating his 20th birthday started their usual script, ‘Your parents raised such a handsome young man they must be proud’, offering their daughter’s hand in marriage, ‘If lady Himemiya is still unsure, my daughter would love to be your wife’, Eichi started to tune them out, sometimes laughing at the same old jokes they told every year.

 Then when they offered to refill his glass, ‘You are a big man now, don’t be shy, drink more’, Eichi tried to offer his usual rebuttal, only to feel his father approach him from behind and place a hand on his shoulder and answer for him, ‘Of course he accepts, right Eichi?’. He tried to get a grasp of the situation, looking at his father for an answer only to be met with the same cold smile he used when Eichi didn’t follow his orders, daring him to go against him. So all he could do was down the glass in his hand and present it to the associate for a refill, ‘You must be just like your father, he doesn’t get drunk even if he drinks for the whole party’, who laughed when Eichi smiled towards him.

 The same pattern repeated itself for the rest of the night, an associate he doesn’t even remember came up to talk to him, offered to fill him a new glass and watched, almost anxiously, for him to finish his glass before offering another one. Eichi lost count how many glasses he had drank and by now he was, simply put, drunk. The conversations which he didn’t care for started to only show as a blur at that point, people were still pushing more alcohol onto him and he was starting to slip up in the conversations he was having, rambling on and on about his actual interests not those scripts his parents forced him to memorize, to a point his parents decided it was enough, joining the conversation to excuse their son for the night, ‘He has an important meeting in the morning’. Of course, it wasn’t out of concern about their son’s situation, but out of fear he would ‘dirty the family's name’.

 So he took the opportunity and started to bid farewell to the mob of faces he had been socializing for the past hours, tumbling over his own feet everywhere, it wasn’t that big of an issue as almost everyone at the place was too drunk to not be the same, and calling his driver to take him home. 

 Now any sober person might have gone with the original plan, go to his dorm and if his health deteriorated during the night to go to tue hospital, but of course Eichi wasn't a sober person and insisted the driver got him to the beach and sending a quick text without much explanation to Rei, of course the text was probably just a ramble without a single coherent word that Rei would probably take way too long to decipher, but he knew that somehow he would find him either way.

 So here he was drunk, way too tipsy for him to trust his own legs and waiting for someone that probably was grasping at straws trying to look for him while seating in the sand of a empty beach, with the cold wind of the sea making him stay awake and sobering him up.

 The whole day was hectic, Eichi didn’t stay for the after party at Ensemble Square and so hadn’t had the time to talk to his own friends on his own birthday. What made it even worse was the fact one of the meetings he had to clean on his schedule was the dinner Rei had been talking about the whole month, he had booked a small restaurant in a part of town where idols weren’t as widespread and they could just be themselves without thinking much about their surroundings and maintaining their image. Eichi had been looking forward to it the entire time and dreaded having to cancel it, but his parents, as always, were a bigger priority in his life. Rei understood the entire situation, saying they could always reschedule for another day, but Eichi could see he was disappointed with the entire circumstance.

 The only thought running through his mind was finding a location that there weren’t people around at this time of the night and making sure Rei would come his way. 

 He doesn’t even know how much time passed since he first arrived at the beach and told his driver he would call him when needed. He, finally, could hear soft footsteps on the sand, only for them to turn quicker and heavier, stopping by his side.

 "You know 'mwt me 1o bac ' isn't really a good clue to where you were" Eichi could hear Rei's breathing being somewhat ragged, he probably had been running around looking for him "I've been looking for you everywhere you know, Wataru somehow managed to decipher your code and I managed to find you here by mere luck" 

 Eichi didn’t answer him, continuing to gaze towards the ocean as if Rei wasn’t even there. Rei sat down by his side after a while and bumped his shoulder against the blond’s waiting for him to feel comfortable to talk about it, Eichi let his head fall onto the offered member, nuzzling closer to it, and let out a sigh.

"The party went that bad then huh" Rei started to run his hand into the blond locks and with the other reached for something "Here drink some"

 He offered Eichi a bottle of water, which he tried to grab, only for it to fall to the ground with a soft thud and a small laugh to be heard to his side. Eichi tried to sound his complaint but all that he managed to get out was a grumble, pinching the other’s side as a warning, which of course only made the laughter get louder.

"Don't worry your majesty, this humble peasant will help you" 

 Eichi let out another grumble but didn't push him away, so Rei took it as permission to continue. He brought the bottle to the other's lips and helped him take small sips. 

 Eichi kept his head tucked in Rei's shoulder only lifting it up to take another small sip from the bottle and immediately after moving back to its rightful place, letting out small noises when he wanted something else which Rei dutifully answered. 

 Some time passed and Eichi was beginning to, thankfully, sober up, finally being able to form small sentences without slurring his speech, but still maintaining his comfortable position, almost dozing off multiple times only to be awakened by the cold breeze of the ocean.

“I missed you” It was said in such a small voice he wasn’t sure Rei would be able to hear it, making sure to hide his face as the words left his mouth.

 If he heard it he didn’t make it known, instead changing to an entire different topic.

 "We should probably go back, it's getting way too late for an angel to be awake"

 Rei started to get up pulling the blond along with him, guiding him over to where he parked his motorcycle and handing him a helmet and placing him into the back seat. Eichi tried his best to keep himself awake during the ride, clinging tightly to Rei, not paying attention to their surroundings.

 When the motorcycle finally stopped Eichi lifted his head trying to make sense of where he currently was, Rei seemed to have thought it was a good idea to take him to his family home, not the familiar dorm he had grown attached to.

 He tried to look towards Rei for an answer, receiving a shrug and a hand coming to the small of his back guiding towards the unfamiliar mansion.

 "I couldn't exactly take you back to the dorms and risk waking up our dear Shiratori-kun could I?" Eichi tried to sound his protest, he knew Aira was currently having a sleepover with his friends, but Rei didn’t let him go thought with them "Don't worry Ritsu is sleeping over at Mao and my parents aren't home"

 As if that was the problem. Either way it was the Sakuma household or going back to his family home, between the two the answer was obvious. Also, Eichi was too tired to actually start their usual banter.

 "Rei..." he let out a yawn, still following whatever place Rei was taking him to in his maze of a house. Rei hummed at the sound of his name turning his head towards the blond waiting.

“Yes?”

“Thank you for finding me”

  "You know I would do it all over again if you needed" he pressed a kiss to the blond's forehead.

 Eichi wasn’t one to be opposed to Rei’s affections, but the sudden kiss had taken him off guard and he could feel his face begin to turn red. Rei, thankfully, chose not to comment on it, still guiding them towards his room.

 "Oh here we are, make yourself comfortable on my bed, I will only grab some more water from the kitchen"

 He tried to communicate he didn’t want Rei to leave him, taking hold of his shirt and refusing to let it go “Don’t worry it will be really quick” He tried to appease Eichi “We can do whatever you want when I come back, how about it?” The blond thought for a while and decided it was a good compromise, letting go of the shirt and turning towards the room.

 Rei's room was mostly normal, save for the coffin, and it surprisingly had a bed in it, which Eichi waddled towards, falling down on it as if his strings got cut moving under the covers and making himself comfortable. He never spent much time at the Sakuma household, sometimes he did go in but they were for a small amount of time, mostly when Ritsu found him outside waiting for Rei and ushering him in, ‘Stop being a creep outside my house Echan’, and making him wait on the couch present in the living room.

 He heard the door open, signaling Rei coming back to his room with another bottle of water in hand and something for him to eat in the other, moving closer and sitting at the other side of the bed, handing him the bottle of water and putting what looked like a disfigured cupcake on the dresser.

 Eichi didn’t pay any mind to the bottle, dropping it to the mattress, instead turning towards Rei and opening his arms, waiting for him to get the hint. He took a second to understand the meaning, but threw himself at the blond’s embrace right after, waiting patiently for the next move.

“You didn’t answer me earlier” He said it while playing with the raven’s hand, trying to look uninterested.

 He could only laugh, of course Eichi would still be hung up on that and show it in such a childish way. 

“Well, I thought it was implied when I ran all over town looking for you” That wasn’t the answer Eichi wanted at the time, grabbing Rei’s hand and biting his index finger, making him let out a small yelp “Ouch don’t hurt this old man” he bought his hand towards his heart “Of course I missed you too” He pressed his lips against the younger’s and pulling back after a second.

“Again”

 He kissed him again, laughing into the kiss. Only to feel a sting on his lips when he tried to pull back.

“Who said you could stop?” He felt his eyes starting to drop, but still tried his best to show a pout.

“Sorry your majesty, it just looks like you might fall asleep into our kiss” Even saying that pressed another kiss to the other’s mouth “Go to sleep love, tomorrow I have a small surprise for you” 

 He felt lips being pressed against his forehead, he didn’t want to admit Rei was right but his eyes were refusing to keep themselves open and he could feel himself being pushed further into sleep, so he decided to finally let sleep take over, hugging the other even tighter. He heard the sound of what he supposed was the bedside drawer being opened and then feeling Rei shuffling from his position, which he let a annoyed noise out, a hand came to play with his hair making him nuzzle closer to it, he felt something cold come in contact with his hand and right after being slipped into his finger. He didn’t have the energy to actually look at what just happened, falling asleep right after.

 Rei turned the hand towards him, the ring shining under the light of the room, kissing it.
