Happy Elucien Week everyone!

This is actually a repost of my very first Elucien commission from all the way back in Feb 2022 and it remains one of my favourite to this date, particularly because of the quote it is inspired by. It’s one of my favourite Elucien quotes and I love that it comes directly from Elain herself.

There is something so tender yet so unbelievably vulnerable, to ask someone, “Can you hear my heart too?” and I am so looking forward to the moment where Lucien hears her too. (my head canon is that he currently can’t because the last time he’d heard someone’s heart beating, it was Jesminda’s stopping)

With this prompt and Elucien living 24/7, rent free in my mind, I had to reshare this piece with you all!

Honestly I think Elain is sneakier than we think when it comes to Lucien, because during Starfall she is seen by Helion and Varian. And at first all I thought was “Oh hey look Elain and Lucien are by each other’s families. If that’s not foreshadowing idk what is.” And at first I wasn’t sure why Varian and Elain were talking until I remembered that Rhys was talking to Tamlin in ACOFAS about dispatching Summer Court sentries to prefect his borders…and if they did do that then Varian would be a person who knows about that.

And Helion is a person who’s not only working on the treaty but also was helping Feyre try to find a way to break Vassa’s curse in ACOFAS…

Soooo this could just be a coincidence orrr she’s checking into the same things that Lucien is now in the middle in without having to talk to Lucien about it ….and isn’t that interesting 👀👀👀
