JUPITER IN FLIGHT.

but it keeps waking you  up instead and you’re shaking and feeling inside out until something lets loose a run - away .   you don’t know what happens but your no  longer in the chest in the closet , bleeding and reforming unnoticed as screams were stifled by cloth and tied hands. you are free for a time -  in something that seems like you from the clear blue skies and the summer nights unfazed.  you are watched and held by dreams you had written to your mother about before the strange things happened to her .  when she would still hold you and call you her jaan .  

you are barely six but you are brave and you go out to search this place for someone else.    it is better than being in the box kept to be taken from to serve something you do not understand.  and so you walk along the shores and that is when you see him for the first time. he is grand ,   not in height but in the ways that actually matter. the ways in which safety holds and the way the sun seems to set a halo .  and you go to him and he sits you between himself and a never ending bow .   it seems strange to you that someone so right for you would be found but its been three years of you being opened and starved to feed something you don’t understand that when he kisses your hand you know this is exactly were you belong.
