In case you all were wondering how I was with seeing Charlie on the big screen 💀
Also I’m pretty sure the lady by me noticed my friend and I freaking out about Charlie💀 we were constantly locked in and holding our breath when he was on screen (I was also grabbing my friend bc WHAT DO YOU MEAN THATS LUKE WE’RE WATCHING ON THE BIG SCREEN 🤧)
It getting cancelled emotionally devastated me. They did it in such a shitty manner too (waited over a year to tell anyone and made the cast announce it live at their first panel).
Yeah 😔 it was a time to be in there actively from like September 2020-December 2021 bc we were all speculating that they had to be renewed bc how couldn’t they be, watching all the cast’s insta’s like a hawk every post and being like “👀 oop they might know something but they can’t say anything yet” for over a year just opening and waiting for that to be the case. Then for Dream-It Con in Paris all of the cast was there and you’re thinking “OH! Prime time to announce they’re renewed” but instead it’s that they’re not welcome back bc most likely Jatp got popular with an older demographic than the intended targeted young one.
It was devastating seeing the cast’s reactions, you can see how much fun they had on that set, how many close friendships they formed from there. After filming they got told they would see each other again for press but bc of COVID they couldn’t and that con was the first time any of them were seeing each other again. Seeing Madison’s reaction was especially devastating, that was her first project, and she got the lead role only for it to be canceled.
At least we can follow the cast and crew’s other projects and support them that way, it’s just beyond devastating they’re not able to be together to create more jatp.

It’s also like imagine if Trevor got that song and then released it as a love song bc when you just read the lyrics at face value like Julie did you would think that, idk if that’d be more tragic then. Especially since Julie says Trevor’s songs were so big to her and in reality they’re Luke’s songs like imagine if he did get Unsaid Emily and that ended up being Julie’s favorite and then turns out it’s this deeply sad emotional song about missing the chance to say all the things you wish you could have said to your loved one

I've been thinking about how Julie could see our beloved ghosts and i realised that we don't really know if she can see all ghosts or only Luke, Alex and Reggie.
Then i remembered that Rose's band's name was Rose and the Petal Pushers. Pushing daisies is a phrase to say that someone is dead.
Soooo that means that Rose (maybe) had been able to see ghosts. "I've been in a couple bands myself".
What if she was in ghost bands?
And like in the jatp world ghosts exist 100% so why not witches too? What if Reggie was right? Julie was a witch, but her mom was too, maybe even Rose's mom.
And what if the only ghosts they can see are ghosts whose unfinished business they can solve?
What i think is that the couple bands Rose had been in (including her own) were made of ghosts that she helped cross over.
It could be like a family duty? Passed on from daughter to daughter (carlos can't see ghosts but he found out pretty quickly so maybe he can sense ghosts? Or maybe he's just a kid believing in ghosts).
Maybe Rose was gonna tell this to Julie when she was older but died before she could.
Another thing is that Julie is in a generation where she can sell the hologram thing. But Rose wasn't. So another power of the 'Rose clan of witches' is making ghosts visible and tangible until they can crossover.
This is what happened at the end in the garage scene. Maybe Julie had the power after all but her strong feelings 'awakened' her power at that time.
I think this could be very interesting. Imagine Ray knows about this and contacts someone from the 'Rose clan of witches' to train Julie's powers.
For those new here, normally around Halloween at my work we get in spooky shirts and sometimes they have ghosts on them and me being me I’m like “it’s giving jatp” however I saw this summer shirt, I walked by and went “I feel as though Luke would wear that 💀”
