hi tumblr fam! it’s been a while since i’ve been here. not even sure who all is still active on here, but hopefully some of y’all are. i always felt like this was a safe space for me to be super open about things i was going through and i’ve made so many wonderful friends here over the years, kinda feels right to come back since my life is soooo different now. good different. i don’t wanna make this first post too long, so i’ll try to sum it up as best i can. the last time i was posting on here (3 years ago) i had just moved to TX, was extremely depressed and lonely, and going through one of the hardest years of my life. i’m so happy to say that my life has improved immensely since then. i’ve met some of the most incredible people i’ve ever known, i started a band with my best friend, i started making music again, i deconstructed my faith and have ultimately left that behind which is probably the hardest thing i’ve ever gone through but it’s what i needed to do for me. my life has truly transformed and i feel like a completely different person now. i intend to share more about that journey here and hope it will resonate with someone. until then, much love to you all.
