“I thought you hated us X-Men, Hill? What the heck you doing around these parts anyways? Unless you came to sneak a peak in which case… you could have just sexted. I mean I ain’t shy.”

“I don’t hate anyone... except Tea Leoni, but that’s for personal reasons. Trust me, I get my stress relief without problem, I don’t need to sext you. I came to find Xavier.”

“Wait, wait, wait… we have to go up in the air for a simple training session?!”

“Well... yes.”

This is just an on-call for me, right? I’m only here because you’re other doctor was sick or something?

“Exactly, you’re a doctor not an agent.”

“You know it’s called knocking. You should try it sometime.”

“Should I? Maybe next time.”

“You might not have a choice but you can fight as hard as you can against it. I’ll try. You’re, uh, not a dog person, are you?”

“I don’t mind dogs, and I don’t mind cats either, why?”

Okay, so is anyone a python expert? I was visiting the zoo and may or may not have let one get out. We’ll know it soon enough.

“If it bites me, will I get super powers?”

“It’s not worth you getting killed. Look, this isn’t going to blow over quickly but I’m not losing you during this.”

“I don’t think anyone gets a choice when it comes to death. Clint, keep your eyes open and your head low.”

“Did you want to talk about whats bothering you? Perhaps I could help.”

“I doubt it, but I appreciate the offer, thanks.”

   “Sure it is but we can’t let that stop us. I’m not having fun here seeing loved ones getting arrested either. Try not to think about it.”

“Yeah, you’ve always been better at that then, Nat.”

The smug look slipped off Clint’s face. “Maria, you’re not dying during this. You’re too good too. You don’t have to apolgize if you don’t plan on taking me in.” He couldn’t say it back. He was already too raw for comfort.

“It doesn’t matter what I do, my loyalty to Fury outranks everyting else in my life.”

“Luna, its nice to meet you Maria.”

“It’s nice to meet you too.”

“Inhuman I think is the name we use. Alien is more known I guess. I know you aren’t I wouldn’t have came to talk to you if I felt you were a threat.” 

“Not that it matters any more. Well, I’m Maria, hi.”

“Because I can feel it. You never wanted to hurt your friends like I am sure they never wanted to hurt you. Its not the end of the world, you just have to believe it.”

“You can feel it? Are you a mutant? I’m not prejudiced, I -- well I was friends with several.”

“Goodbye, Maria.  Send SHIELD my regards.”

“I’m not in the business of holding things against people.”

“I don’t think you have ruined everything. The situation is difficult and I’m sure they understand that its not personal.”
