this is gonna be weird isn't it
I'm gonna leave this poll go for about a week and write my damn essay on my experience as a greysexual person and how I experience sexual attraction anyways regardless of what the results show. I just wanna know if anyone gives a shit.
I'm gonna explain the term in the essay itself, but I'm gonna give you a brief definition of it here: Greysexuality falls on the asexual spectrum where sexual attraction is experienced rarely, infrequently, or under certain circumstances/conditions. I only experience that last category, and only ever that last category. I'm also Autistic, so I had trouble identifying what felt like "attraction" to me up until like, developing a libido, which was in like, late high school I think. (I was such a late fucking bloomer.)
My goal isn't to get those that know me (be they online or irl) to understand this part of me more, but also (and more importantly) to help others who have a similar experience understand that they are not broken and that they are not alone.
My essay will include visuals that accompany my attempts to identify the traits I find attractive. And there will be many times where I will struggle to name more than one with certain images of people/characters.
So I'm gonna write the damn thing and then like... post it today or maybe tomorrow or some shit.
I forgot I was gonna write the essay post thing. Whoops.
Like, i was writing it, and then I guess someone sneezed wrong here in rural Ohio and we lost internet again. Then my period finally started and had me down (and I had to power through an endometriosis-amplified second day to see TADC Final Act finale at the theaters), and I'm just exhausted.
I'm genuinely gonna work on it more, I just don't know exactly when. Maybe tonight, who knows.
