The final race of the night started with a holeshot from Ken Roczen, but Monster Energy Kawasaki teammates Eli Tomac and Adam Cianciarulo were right behind him. Next in line were Cooper Webb, Zach Osborne, Justin Hill, and Jason Anderson. Roczen had about two seconds on Tomac at this point but Tomac’s pace had increased and it quickly became apparent that Tomac was slowly reeling in Roczen.
A wild night of racing in round three of the AMA Supercross Series at Anaheim Stadium. We saw a third different winner (and motorcycle brands) in as many rounds so far in 2020. Ken Roczen jumped out to an early lead and quickly opened up a small gap on the field. Tomac, however, immediately started moving forward and made one pass after another. Tomac was just too strong for Roczen on this night, and Tomac rode past last week’s winner and ran off with the victory, his first since Las Vegas last year. After all was said and done, defending champ Cooper Webb (Red Bull KTM) held on to take third,
3 full years since Honda’s Ken Roczen won a Monster Energy Supercross main event, he returned to the top, winning the 450cc main event inside The Dome at America’s Center, in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

Cairoli used the power of his KTM 450 SX-F and his prowess away from the line to launch straight into contention for victory in the opening race. He ran close with Tim Gajser as the pair overtook Arnaud Tonus but then rode conservatively to take second position behind his Slovenian rival.
Red Bull KTM’s Cooper Webb got the holeshot to start 450cc moto one, but Roczen wasted no time, going around Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson and Monster Energy Yamaha’s Justin Barcia in one turn, then by Webb before the end of the opening lap. Roczen went on to lead every lap and win the moto by about 20 seconds over Anderson.
