ok im high as fuck thinking about poly team 7 where literally all of them have a raging praise kink. hopefully the words all make sense in the order im putting them in. there are a lot more of them than i originally intended because the concept got away from me.
kakashi figures it out quick and feels soooo guilty and gross because he absolutely takes advantage of it all of the time. its just too convenient and gets them all to behave. if he closes his eye while he does it for long enough for them to get their fluster under control, its fine, right? surely this won't cause any problems long term. at some point he stops praising them as much just because he's not teaching them anymore and he doesn't need to abuse use that anymore.
poly team 7 hijinks ensue and the three of them desperately try to figure out how to seduce their sensei because if he doesnt start giving them attention again theyre going to collectively lose it. sakura finally figures out their angle after he lands himself in the hospital and has to threaten him with bodily harm to get him to behave. he does and so she calls him good for behaving and kakashi just freezes. because internally hes just a dog with his tail wagging so hard.
cue all three of his old students going out of their way to find ways to praise him. kakashi has never been so well behaved or taken care of himself so well and its solely because every time he does something even remotely correct one of them is there to praise him over it. he's showing up on time to places and everybody but sakura, sasuke, and naruto are honestly kind of worried about him. tsunade very adamantly does not acknowledge it because she assumes pointing it out will make it stop, until she watches him walk into her office an entire minute early and sakura tells him good job for being early.
kakashi didnt fall far from the tree when it comes to kinks and she was at the very unfortunate receiving end of a tipsy orochimaru gushing about sakumo's praise kink one time too many (once. it happened once). she immediately is far too aware of exactly why kakashi is behaving himself. after whatever called them all there she has everyone but sakura leave and just stares at her before downing an entire cup of sake and telling her to never make her witness that again. she wants nothing to do with whatever freak shit shes clearly involved in and really doesnt want to know why kakashi is involved.
i dont actually think kakashi notices right away. and then when he does he absolutely refuses to think about it. their brain chemistry may have been permanently altered by him but if he just ignores that then everything is normal and fine
when the three of them finally get to fuck him hes just absolutely boneless. he gets to be a pillow princess and taken care of fully and there's nothing in his head for the first time in his life. hes literally in heaven.
it quickly becomes an unspoken rule amongst other shinobi to completely ignore whatever the fuck the four of them having going on. its going to be weird. its going to make everyone just the slightest bit uncomfortable to be around. but if you can just pretend you didnt see all one of kakashi's ex students pet his hair in public and tell him hes being good for behaving then you can probably move on with your day in peace.
nobody is allowed to watch their spars anymore because the four of them like to fuck after sparring, and naruto, sakura, and sasuke refuse to risk anyone else even possibly seeing their dear sensei's face
Kakashi starts praising them because based on their respective backgrounds it should be the easiest way to manipulate them into working harder/ being better.
The orphan that was shunned by the village.
The civilian girl with no Shinobi support at home.
The orphan that chases another’s shadow.
Praise is just a natural conclusion.
But then he sees them react to it and he becomes all too aware they seem to like it a bit too much. But he’s still a shinobi and the methods been working very very well so…he kinda just pretends not to notice the blushes or shudders. Tries to tell himself it’s fine.
Several years later he curses himself for ever thinking that.
The fuckers were so used to him praising them, casually praising eachother and him became habit to them.
Him! Praised!
Who the fuck said they were allowed to do that? Not him!
They don’t even do him the curtesy of pretending not to notice his reactions.
It’s almost like they want to watch him…ah. They do want to watch him squirm don’t they?
