My favourite photo from the day. Every day for 365 days.  Me, the dog, and two of my band of stragglers had a lovely afternoon walk on Wimbledon common.  The sun was shining, it was warm, and it sounded as though every bird was singing a happy song.  Spring is on it’s way 😊

I had never tried gnocchi before re so I decided now was the time and bought myself a packet.  I cooked it the same way o make my favourite pasta meal.  Packet of gnocchi (I used one with no egg)  Punnet of cherry tomatoes (quartered)  1 red onion (finely chopped)  2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)  Large handful of basil (torn)  I cooked the gnocchi on a pan of boiling water for three minutes.…

Sometimes you can have an exceptionally good day even without really doing anything.  This morning I woke up before the boy so I was able to enjoy a cup of tea in bed and read a chapter of my book.  I had leftover cottage pie for dinner which meant all I had to do was microwave it. I’ve blogged a few times about how I have a few pounds to lose, probably 8lbs. I have a little alarm clock, it’s nothing special, I think it was £4 in Asda a year ago, it looks like an old fashioned alarm clock with the bell on top.
