One of my favorite things in music is when poc singers use their traditional instruments and music in their songs, like Bad Girls by MIA, where it’s an English song but it has a very clear Indian beat. I like that. I wish it was easy to search for music like that but unfortunately there isn’t a genre called “Rap in English with Tamil beats”💀
