would love to do a comic where the buildings are physically modeled so the interiors can be moody shots but still stylized in a way. if the model's of quality allover, exterior as well. closer to movie stills.

taking great care with upcoming patronage pages but ooooh my god. miss drawing the guys loving on each other.

sorting some files this morning and found preliminary patronage scripting. four years ago I thought arkady was a museum security guard.

recalling discussing plans for larger scale drawings with an instructor who would then run them as ai prompts and post the bullshit online as if they were just using their fun little tool to quickly visualize their own genius so the masses had an easy in on their supersolo original ideas. process was core to the concept in that project, it was sort of the worst drawing set possible to do that with. had to find out as part of the digital masses that it was done, too, and not possible to bitch at the time for anxiety that critique of the pro and their practice would hurt standing with the person, which needed to be maintained at the time. it's not an ip or ethical grievance exactly, and it's not like it cost me anything, I guess it's fair that two who collaborate will do what they will on their own and that person has their own circumstances to motivate them that I cannot fault them for. but it rubbed something like a blister in regards to the value of either my thoughts or work, and working together with others, especially when it happened repeatedly. what's done is done, but I didn't draw the connection it had to subsequent work that seemed to suffer for no discernible reason until a little slow time in the sun scented like spring blossoms restored me to something like human peace and sanity. like, oh, yeah. that happened. what a thing to forget, it was an unknown feeling at the time, but large enough to have a yearlong ripple, I guess.
