the room seems to fill with a black smog, almost enough to feel like you're choking but yet still breathing with utmost certainty. lights begin to flicker off and on in a pattern... one... one... two... one... one... two... three...

something snarls and makes a lunge for a woman dressed in white. you don't remember seeing her before but with the flick of her wrist, the large black dog stills. black dog? where did it come from? and then it hits you.
hellhounds. the demon had brought it's faithful companion and had sent it to lunge at a witch. and the witch had distracted it? your brain doesn't comprehend what's going on.
