Q&A
GZSZ/THE SHOW:
Who is Moritz and Luis and what are they?
Moritz & Luis is one of the many storylines from the German daily soap Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten, (GZSZ, “Good Times, Bad Times”) the first episode was aired in 1992. The main protagonists of this storyline, Moritz Bode and Luis Ahrens, met in September 2021 and began an enemy-to-friends-to-lovers relationship.
Our uploaded translation is very far behind, but as of 2024, they survived a breakup and are still going strong.
Where can I watch the original/full episodes?
You can watch the full episodes with german subtitles on RTL+, you will need a membership/premium account if you want to watch all epidsodes, but the latest 5 episodes are for free.
CURRENT SCHEDULE:
For current upload schedule, please check the latest announcement.
Can you please upload more videos?
If there are more videos ready, yes probably. But since all team members are dedicating their free time in this project, there will always be some changes. This is life and we are only humans.
How far behind are we?
We have provided the original episode numbers with each our upload, feel free to check the GZSZ site for the latest episode number.
LINKS:
Where can I watch all the parts?
We upload on:
- Google Drive (since so many people are watching the videos, Google Drive won’t allow access sometimes - if you get an error message please use the alternative link for VK)
- VK
Since there are many parts, we’ve devided them into different links. (see below) There are 20 parts in each link and the numbers you see serve as tags, so for example, if you don’t see part 180 in the link “Part 161 - 180,” it will be there someday, it’s just not uploaded yet. (Please stop asking!)
Part 1 - 20
Part 21 - 40
Part 41 - 60
Part 61 - 80
Part 81 - 101
Part 102 - 120
Part 121 - 140
Part 141 - 160
Part 161 - 180
How many parts are there in total?
The show GZSZ is still running and the boys are still in a relationship, so we don’t know how many parts there will be.
THE TEAM:
Who are we and what are we?
All of the team members are allegedly based in the Northern Hemisphere and most of us were drawn to the Moritz-Luis-story, that was how it started. Other than that, no, we don’t know each other very well. :D
I’d like to help / be a part of the team, what do you need and what do I do?
Since, once again, everyone in the team is doing it voluntarily and we all dedicate our free time into this project, it is understandable that team members come and go. So we will always need some extra hands.
If you
a) are living in a German speaking area and have access to RTL+, b) speak both German and English fluently, or c) are experienced in subbing videos,
and most of all,
d) have some extra time to spare,
please feel free to hit us up, send us a message, we’ll be in touch.
For those who apply as translator and/or editor, we’ll send you a short video to test how you’re doing.
