More than (just) Themes

Minimal+ features a minimalist look with bold typography inspired by Swiss design. Layout-wise, it extends beyond the standard 1140px grid width that Bootstrap comes with, to make use of the available space in modern wide monitors that are standard these days.

Minimal+ packs a great feature set building on top of the goodies included in our recent previous Drupal 8 themes.

On the surface, Event+ is an eye-catchy and powerful, mobile-first theme distribution for events, workshops, and meetups. Under the hood is quite a bit more than that. It is also the first theme where we’re introducing a number of features we’ve been doing research on, for a while now.

Catalog+ is a Drupal 8 mega-theme designed to help you level up the way you list products, services, and customer stories, with

brand new features on top of our standard 200+ theme settings,

with a look and feel that’s easily adjustable to different brands,

including our custom modules with functionality suitable to a business and listing site that several users have brought up, such as our brand new Countdown and Cookie Consent modules,

and, lastly, making use of the great core features of Drupal 8, such as custom block types.

In the Drupal 8 era, our favorite Content Management Framework is dramatically improved and enriched with every interim update. Drupal 8.6.x is one more great step to that direction, coming with a bunch of great features and improvements including, among other things:

a new experimental media library,

a new experimental workspaces module

much improved experimental layout capabilities

while at the same time this is

… the first release of Drupal 8 to offer a fully supported migration path from Drupal 7

After we released Corporate+ and Startup Growth for Drupal 8, Directory+has been the theme most often requested by our users. It was a no-brainer that we would do a Drupal 8 version of it. However, that took a while, as Directory+ has certain bits of functionality that were dependent on community-driven projects.

That’s past, though, and Directory+ is now available for Drupal 8, as well as Drupal 7, in one package, at no extra price, helping you build great listing sites.

Business+ is our brand new, corporate/business theme. It was designed with five main goals in mind:

featuring a radically different design than our previous themes, with CSS gradients and overall more color, a kind-of Stripe-ish look and bold, carefully crafted typography,

introducing a brand new team presentation layout,

including custom modules with functionality suitable to a corporate/business site that several users have brought up, such as our brand new Countdown and Cookie Consent modules,

maintaining the complete feature set that all our previous Drupal 8 themes had, including the special Content Types and other time-saving features,

and, lastly, making use of the great core features of Drupal 8, such as custom block types.

Guesthouse+, our latest premium product, is a great-looking Drupal 8 mega-theme with 200+ theme settings, for small hotels, guesthouses, and businesses in the tourism sector.

Guesthouse+ is built of the same base and findings that our latest popular themes have been, and embodies all the standard highlights and special features our Drupal 8 themes embody, making it a very rich and flexible foundation for your sites.

Designing a product that is aimed towards helping users build their site for a conference or event is no easy task. To make this really a great time-saver tailored to the use case scenario, several concepts need to be introduced and mapped into Content Types and Views pages or blocks, including but not limited to:

With Drupal 8, our favourite Content Management Framework has entered a whole new era in terms of the frequency of getting major features via interim updates. Drupal 8.5.x is another great step to that direction, as (from the official Drupal 8.5 release notes),

it makes Media module available for all, improves migrations significantly, stabilizes the Content Moderation and Settings Tray modules, serves dynamic pages faster with BigPipe enabled by default, and introduces a new experimental entity layout user interface.

With such a great new list of features and supported technologies, we couldn’t stay still, of course. Just like we did with Drupal 8.4.x, all our themes are now updated to run on Drupal 8.5.x.

Drupal 8.4 landed a while back with a number of new ready-to-use and upcoming features that will completely transform Drupal down the road. And while thanks to those new features, some fascinating times lie ahead, Drupal 8.4 came with a few breaking changes, as well.

Inevitably, at More than Themes, we had to jump to update all our Drupal 8 themes — premium and free — to support the Drupal 8.4.x core. If you use one or more of those themes head over to our Customer Portal and sign in with your credentials to get the latest update, free of charge.

Top+ is our brand new, corporate/business theme was designed with four main goals:

Tourism+ is a brand new Drupal 8 theme, designed for business sites related to the tourism industry; yacht (and not only) rentals, destination-presenting sites and so forth.

For the front-end looks of Tourism+, we worked once again with the wonderful Diana Andreea who was commissioned to create original static designs. As the designs were recreated in Drupal 8 and following usability tests, front-end/CSS experimentation, and some brainstorming on the (endless) possibilities Drupal 8 and its custom block functionality bring, a new layer of interactive design elements was added.

For the functionality we built upon our previous releases and then added some more goodies on top, bundling 200+ theme settings into Tourism+, so that you can kickstart your next Drupal 8 site project, then customize it to your preferences, without the need to mess with code.

Ever since its release for Drupal 7 in 2015, Corporate+ has been one of our most popular theme distributions for corporate and business sites built on Drupal. Throughout the time after we switched to Drupal 8 releases, it remained one of our most requested themes for a D8 version.

So, here we are, as promised in multiple one-on-one discussions via email; Corporate+ is now available for Drupal 8, as well — and not just that. Corporate+ comes in one package with the corresponding versions for both Drupal 8 and Drupal 7, at no additional cost.

Requirements

Say that you have chosen our Showcase+ theme, to build a brand new Drupal 8 site on. 

You have chosen one of the built-in color schemes (flavors) from the theme settings, and you’re starting out with using some of your other corporate branding elements, such as your logo.
