Money isn’t the main topic of a relationship.

I could go years w a nigga n not give a fuck if they buy me shit. But them spending money on you shows you that they see your worth and wanna give exactly that. Or at least that’s how I see it from my perspective.

I was w a dude for 4 years and he ain’t neva got me shiiiit, and I didn’t have a problem until I realized he treated me like ass cus he ain’t seen my worth. He ain’t buy me shit, he took me to McDonald’s for my first “date” and it wasn’t that he didn’t have the money to take me somewhere else, he jus didn’t see that I was worth more. He didn’t care that I was, and the entire 4 years w him proved that.

I be fuckin w someone (ain’t even dating yet) for a week n he spending money on me. I told him we could go to ihop and he took me to a nice, fancy ass place instead. When I asked him why, he said “you need to see you worth more than a cheap ass ihop dinner, especially as a first date.”
