Theodore Trapdoor, in retrospect, may not need retolologizing in any way,unline other FANG characters. He is so stylized in his physique alone that I feel any “real” modelling skills would be wasted on him.

I’ve also been playing around with her morph targets. She’s really turning out to be quite ugly- not that this is unintentional.

So, I’ve decided that this blog doesn’t have nearly enough GutterVolt, so I joined Sketchfab after browsing it for days and stuck this on! It’s a bit difficult to get the hang of uploading, and rigged/morphed characters seem to be a no-go, but I’m going to try and shove a few up ASAP!

For the past fortnight i said that if i manage to clock in 60 hours of work I could buy Minecraft for the Vita. Guess what I've been doing while spending my time at this very scenic and inspirational part of Scotland, other than taking photos which i will inevitably use in a project?

This skips out a ton of small steps which were littered through the process, but if I annotated them, they’d be on screen for such a short time nobody could realistically read them.

A bit late, but I’ve uploaded Alia’s speed modeling video, which plays at 32x its usual speed.

Now that I look at this, I see that the creases on her top half from the line of symmetry work very well as far as showing that she’s wearing a piece of armour. Doesn’t look great on the crotch and stomach, though.

On a personal note, though I’m getting around seven hours of sleep, I’m still very stressed and I feel I may be overdoing it- to be fair I’m about four weeks ahead of schedule. I’ve agreed to myself that if I finish 60 hours before a week tomorrow, I’ll get Minecraft for PS Vita to take on my easter holiday. So far I’m on 21 hours.

I’ve been videoing the modelling process from the get-go so I may be able to share that here once it’s done!

...I even included the video where I knocked over a lamp. It was funny.

It’s awfully business-y and plain, so not really up my alley, but It’ll definitely help.

I’ve been concentrating on retopology the past few days and I think I’ve gotten her to look quite good- save for the placeholder textures, of course.

Looks like I have way more Felba than I originally wanted.

My one word of advice would be to render old animations out in HD for the sake of making a showreel with them later. Otherwise,not much to report. Spent the day rendering in HD and planning for the showreel!
