scout was no rat,but it's not like she was really close with ozzy's friends,she just knew them in passing,and occasionally hung around them. this particular occurrence happened the other day when ozzy wasn't around and she was just waiting on him so they could hang out after he saw them. so she'd spill the beans anyways,not concerned it could bite her in the ass later.

❝ a little birdie told me. josh,to be exact. he was drunk so i doubt it was true. ❞she shouldn't be so trusting,especially with someone she barely knew,josh,drunk as a skunk spilling confessions ozzy had a crush on her. she was giddy when she'd heard it,because she liked him too,but she didn't get her hopes up.

❝ i wouldn't win in a fight with a dead girl. ❞she kinda laughed at that,as messed up as this all was,she knew she'd fail miserably if she tried to fight a ghost,so she left it alone and focuse don mapplehtrope's problem. if there was even anything to fix,but there was no harm in trying.

❝ jesus. that sounds awful. ❞she mumbles,scratching the back of her neck trying to imagine it but didn't really want to,it's the morbid side of her thinking she'd want to invasion someone's almost death. she shook her head and focused on the problem at hand,which was attempting to get mapplethrope and his friend's out of this hellhole.

"as much as i'd love to believe you'd hold your own, yeah no. you wouldn't win against someone who is already dead," considering the fact that mapplethorpe has knocked nimrod's head off without him feeling any discomfort or the fact that gonzo was literally falling apart whenever his memory amongst the living was wearing thin---.....yeah, you really couldn't do anything that would get them to stop. they were already dead. they didn't feel pain, if anything? it was more of a nuisance whenever bodily harm came to them.

"it was---...." he'll clear his throat, looking forward. he didn't really like to talk about. as much as he would have loved for chester to be at the park with him for all eternity, he didn't want to him to go out the way he did. he realized he was selfish. it had been a slap in the face for him, to say the least. he couldn't take chester away from his family, his life. he needed to live for him.

"yeah, yeah. whatever. i wouldn't waste your time on it. we're happy here," for the most part.

❝ guess i'd be really bad in a zombie apocalypse. ❞she chuckled,trying to make light of the situation. she wanted to help but had doubts herself she could be so powerful to set them all free,to help them move on. she wanted to believe she could but the doubts definitely overpowered her positive thinking.

❝ if you say so. i have doubts about trying. i don't think i'm powerful enough to do such a thing. ❞she frowned,wanting to think that mapplethrope was truly happy at the fun park. who would be,really ? stuck there day after day and night after night. scout imagined it got pretty old pretty fast.

it was a nice enough day at the beach,the weather crisp,not too warm not too cold and the breeze just right. she had her camera on her,hoping for some good shots since the sun was shining brightly above. not a cloud in site,the best weather if you ask scout.

she spotted someone drawing by the lighthouse and thought they looked really angelic,tempted to take a picture without asking but decided against it and instead approached them,camera around her neck as she walked towards them.

❝ he had it coming. ❞she said with a shrug,enjoying sips of her drink,trying not to over do it. last thing she needed was to be dragged out of here,she wanted to enjoy herself but not over do it to where she was sloppy which sometimes happened depending on who she was with. but she was alone,she had to play cool.

❝ visit was good. i um,i work for a local here sometimes. he's uh,kinda wanted. i keep it on the down low though. ❞she whispers,not wanting to gain any traction to her conversation with him,she doesn't want any ears to hear what she's saying,it's super secret business and she really shouldn't even be telling him this but she felt like she could trust him.

Brow arches slightly when she mentions working for a wanted local here. The being wanted part isn't really surprising, they're in that area of Gotham where that was the norm after all. And he takes a sip of drink, casual -- so she knows there's no judgement there.
