It's not the verveine they are after. He knows what it is before his eyes have finished arriving at it—he knows every green and growing thing for forty miles in any direction, because his mother knew them all and pressed their names into his mouth before he could read, the names and the uses and the lies they tell.

graysexuality is a label on the asexual spectrum. It generally describes people who experience sexual attraction rarely, only under specific circumstances… I’m not saying this confirms anything about Alastor’s identity, but it’s an interesting detail considering Viv has previously described attraction and identity as part of his personal journey

Whether intentional or not, it’s definitely a fascinating choice of colors for a character who is already canonically ace

Sex is not essential. You can live without it. Full stop.

Not having sex isn't shameful or a sign of failure. It also doesn't make anyone boring.

You are not entitled to having sex with anybody and nobody is entitled to having sex with you.

Sex is not what makes someone an adult.

Nobody's worth is defined by how much sex they have or don't have.

Sex is not equally important to everyone.

You can have fulfilling and happy relationships without sex.

You should only have sex on your own terms, not because you feel like you owe it to someone, or because you feel like you'd be incomplete without it.

Know your boundaries around sex and be firm about them. Know how to respect other people's boundaries.

The previous point also applies when it comes to discussing sex. If someone doesn't wanna talk about it or hear about it you have to back down.

and once again, vox has trapped alastor in hopes of winning his affections over and forcing him to stay by his side - now in a completely different universe. he has romanticized this version of al to a point where he doesn't realize how he brought back his own dynamic with his own alastor, how nothing has changed at all.

drew this while listening to ariana grande's hate that i made you love me and it's soooo fitting for al/vox specifically it's crazy (if going with the "broken relationship" interpretation of the song). took a while to finish but i'm pretty happy with the end result and i hope you are too!
