#late nite ramble #for the past few months i’ve been working on a VERY AMBITIOUS krsh fic #it’s way longer and has a different flavor than my previous fics #very excited for it to be done but it’s taking a while to set up since i need to pay attention to small details #but BECAUSE that fic is gonna be so different i want to write a krsh fic in my normal style as well #bc i rlly like when they’re just soft and sweet n shit like that #AND THEN I’m also trying to write a oneshot for sandbag jcc #bc the community neeeeeeds to know how i interpret his character ITS SO SERIOUS TO ME #so yeah #i have a friend who’s been waiting for me to finish my big krsh fic and I feel like shit cuz I haven’t worked on it at all in a week #so i feel inclined to work on it #i just get so mushy whenever I think abt them that it makes it hard to stick to the plot ahahaha

thinking abt how i used to switch fandoms like once a month but now it’s abt once a year. it’s genuinely so fascinating how attached to things i can become. even if i’m not in a fandom anymore i always still hold it very close to my heart.

#late nite ramble #when i was in middle school i was in just abt every “big” fandom there was #undertale fnf ddlc dgrp pokemon a couple indie games #i rlly liked a hat in time too but that was kinda niche #i was in the object show community for about four years but I don’t rlly count that since there were so many different shows #like i’d have fandom phases WITHIN the osc iykwim #nov 2024 i got into idv and was into that until june 2025 which was surprising bc usually i wouldn’t be in fandoms that long consistently #then… enstars #bro #it’s been a YEAR #i went an entire year without getting into any huge fandoms #yes i still consumed other media but was rlly only actively searching for enstars fan content #i feel myself slowly shifting at the moment which is why i’m bringing this up #aka hello jackpot crash course community i am in ur fandom rn #but enstars is never truly gonna leave me bro im still gonna do oshikatsu and cosplays and all that #the franchise and characters will remain in my heart forever even if i ultimately end up dropping it in a fandom sense #which I DONT INTEND ON DOING RN #i just think it’s fascinating how I haven’t rlly gotten into anything else until now #wow this is truly just a ramble have fun trying to make sense of it #fandom

all the new enstars announcements have made me a little insane today BUT THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR… i’m so excited. not even because the song sounds extraordinary or anything IT’S BECAUSE OF THE NAME.

this could be a totalllll stretch but given that their showdown is taking place in france, i’m pretty sure the title of the song is a reference to Albert Camus’s The Stranger. in that story, the main character, Meursault (who is “the stranger” the title refers to) shoots a man, with the only reason he stated for having done it was that the sun was in his eyes. i have NO IDEA what significance that would have to this song or story but liiiiiike…. it’s there lmao.

this may actually be the weirdest thing to freak out over but that is my favorite book of all time so seeing a reference to it, even if it’s unintentional, in fucking enstars of all things is enough to get me to start geeking out. god bless shu itsuki if this title was intentional it was 1000% his idea.
