not sure if it’ll be the same thing, but i had an issue like this a while ago and job stoppinator seemed to be the culprit

Taking my Downloads folder out seems to have fixed the problem, so now I’m going to try to find the source. I’m pretty happy that I just recently started playing again with a fresh DL folder, so hopefully this won’t take too long.

This cycle may repeat itself 2 or 3 times before I ultimately run out of time to play either game. 

Anyhow, I’ve been playing Sims 4 in my downtime. I started a low-key photo album from my neighborhood over here: thepukingmoose.tumblr.com.

So, I’ve been interested in giving Sims 4 another shot* - I haven’t tried it since it was still fairly new - and I’ve got a question for those who play TS4. If I found the base game kind of lack luster, but have been interested in some of the later expansions, do you think that Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, and Get Together would be a good start to get me in to the game (all on sale right now)? Or would that leave out anything (except for Seasons, obviously) that really makes the game?

I know it’s a matter of opinion, just wanted to see how other simmers felt, since this would be a pretty big investment for me.
