younger Richtofen and baby Sam (bo1)

I have this au I'm currently working on and in said au Richtofen is Sam's care giver and they are really close.

I really need to work on it cause it's basically a bunch of ideas that go nowhere lmao. I honestly would love to make a comic about it.

I don’t necessarily see this happen all the time or super frequently because I’m not on tumblr a lot, so idk if this is a common occurrence or like super rare (though I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens a lot), I have seen it happen at least once though, and to finally get to the point, I’m talking about the whitewashing of POC characters in zombies by the fandom, because there’s this one specific artist who not only whitewashed Tak, but also Russman (or I mean, they made him lighter than his canonical skin-tone as a black man).

I’ll show you examples to explain what exactly I mean, (I’m not gonna show the exact fanart/artists out of fear of people- I’m sure they might be able to tell their own color palette out of the list, though)

I have a model of Ultimis Takeo from Bo1 (bottom photo), and from Bo4 (top photo) which I grabbed a skin color from their model (note it might not be completely accurate)

And here is the color I took from a fanart made by the artist I mentioned

And now, Primis (first one being the Bo2 model and the second being Bo3)

Now I guess I can kind of understand the coloring of Ult Tak, as he seems to be less tan compared to his Primis self in the later games (or honestly just kind of grey), but at least for me personally, I still imagine hik with darker skin

Now, Russman, I took his skin-tone from a comic appearance, in hopes that it’s more accurate

And the skin-tone I took from the fanart, this looks like it was taken from Takeo’s model or something, what the fuck?
