No airco, hot car rides but the right music & a lot.. a lot of ice cream. Ye, we’ll get through summer.

Many can’t even talk some sense into me, but I guess... with you it has become natural.

I appreciate that what’s good in life won’t come easy. It simply won’t. Without the obstacles, the trials, the tears, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I’m proud. I’m proud that I decided to stand not fall, to swim not sink, to dream not die. I’m proud I’ve made it this far and that I’m still willing to keep going. I want the good despite the challenges. I want to say that I’ve stared life in the face and won my battles. My fight isn’t over quite yet.

Keeping positive doesn’t mean you have to be happy all the time. other emotions aside from happiness are healthy and okay. thinking positive just means that even on your hardest days, you know that there are and will be better days ahead of you.

We are all trying so hard. We are trying so hard to be okay, to find happiness, to recover from the storm we have faced. We are trying so hard in our own ways. Sometimes we succeed and we have a good day but sometimes we hit rock bottom, which makes us feel as if nothing will ever be alright again. We try so hard. Every day. Every single one of us. Everyone has something to recover from, everyone carries a little bit of hurt, everyone experiences bad days. Let us remind ourselves of the fact that no matter who we see on the street, we are all just trying to love ourselves, to deal with whatever life is throwing at us and to make it through another day.
