i got that "boy like you" song stuck in my head bc that one animator i always see making mdzs stuff made a killer animation and it struck a chord or smth idk but now im js thinking about how theres usually a trope in media where a character falls in love and starts listening to romance music (now as im typing this im thinking about this one fic i read of lwj doing that and lqr being concerned and then xiyao happens in the bg) but i as an aroace person just do it because i enjoy content about OTHER people falling in love lmao so if my family ever thought i was falling in love because i was listening to/ singing romance songs (unlikely since my sister knows how obsessed i am with wangxian rn) i either have to suck it up and endure their teasing or admit i was singing it bc i enjoy the music because i saw it on an animation which leads to more accurate teasing
