Do not mock a pain you haven’t endured.

Our goal should be to live life in radical amazement. ….get up in the morning and look at the world in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.

Pay attention to people that care. Who are always there. Who want better for you. They’re your people.

My favorite weather is that sweet spot somewhere between 55 to 58 degrees  at sunset with a breeze. When you take a breath and the air tastes like earth’s memories. And suddenly your soul feels clean. Like you opened a window that blew the dust away and uncovered a museum of the universe’s matter right there in your very own lungs.

I know you are not my puzzle piece. But I keep thinking that maybe I can carve a little out of me and you can carve a little too and somehow we can make this work. Forget the fact that I am a sunset red and you are an ocean blue. Baby, maybe we can be an abstract painting. But then again, maybe I deserve my fire and you deserve to be the sea. I do not want to be the reason you never get to ride the tides of your dreams.
