Transform Picasso's Life with Your Help!!!! - Baltimore, MD
Picasso: unaltered male, 10m4d, 76lbs
Picasso came to the shelter through Animal Control on 6/6 after being found wandering on his own.
This sweet boy has several significant orthopedic and congenital abnormalities that will require further evaluation and ongoing management. Picasso has a severe overbite that prevents him from picking up food from a bowl, so he must be fed directly from the floor. He is also very thin, with a body condition score of 3/9.
In addition, Picasso has deformities affecting both front legs and feet, and his overall body structure suggests he may already be experiencing degenerative joint changes. He currently shifts weight off one of his hind legs when standing, and veterinary staff highly recommend sedated radiographs of all major joints to better understand the extent of his orthopedic concerns and help guide future care.
Despite everything he is dealing with, Picasso remains a sweet and deserving dog who is looking for a rescue partner willing to give him the medical support and stability he needs.
