Various scenarios where the JJK men are on a date with you, and your ex boyfriend approaches.
“Hey! Look at this seashell. Kinda reminds me of you.” Satoru holds up an iridescent mussel shell.
A small smile appears on your face “And that reminds me of you because?”
“It’s really pretty. Like you.” He smiled, handing you the shell.
“Thanks Satoru. I’ll cherish it forever.”
This was only your first week of being official with Satoru, and he’s proven to be a much better man than you’d ever been with before. Making you smile and laugh far more than you had in years.
“Ugh. That guy keeps staring at us.” Satoru lowered his sunglasses, turning around to glare at the man. A large pit formed in your stomach seeing exactly who you didn’t want to see. Your ex boyfriend.
“We probably better just keep walking then.” You smiled trying to alleviate this awkward situation, that you really didn’t want to see coming to fruition anymore than it already had.
“No babe. I don’t like the way he’s staring at my girl.” Satoru pulled you closer to him, the man beginning to walk closer.
“Seriously Satoru.” You tried to grab his wrist, but he was far stronger than you.
“Are you okay?” Satoru glanced down at you “Do you know that man?”
Not wanting to admit the truth, but feeling almost pressured to do so you quickly stated “Yeah, he’s my ex boyfriend.”
You glanced up seeing his eyebrows raise with your words “This ought to be fun then.” A small low chuckle escaped Satoru’s mouth
“(Y/N)?” The man approached waving.
“Hey.” You quickly said before averting your eyes from him, trying to anchor yourself to Satoru.
“It’s been a while. I’ve been meaning to text you.” The man smiled, completely ignoring Satoru who had already begun to mean mug him through his sunglasses.
“Not necessary.” Satoru butted into the conversation before you could respond. The man looked slightly offended hearing him speak. Satoru could tell your mood had shifted completely upon realizing who the man was, and he wasn’t going to allow you to have to talk to him any further.
“And you are?” The man’s eyebrows rose slightly.
“Her boyfriend.” Satoru had positioned you behind him at this point, to help avert his eyes from even looking at you for a second longer than necessary. He could feel a slight tremble coming from your hands that were positioned on his lower back. Satoru was a little annoyed at this point, crossing his arms intimidatingly.
“Well, I just wanted to talk to her for a moment.” The man tried to sound a little less threatening than he had before.
“That won’t be necessary. Seems like (Y/N) would rather not do that, and actually I’d personally rather not have to be in your presence any longer. Kinda makes me sick if I’m being honest.” You could hear Satoru make a pretend vomiting sound garnering a small smile from behind him on your end. The man was getting more irritated by the second.
“Childish.” The man muttered.
“What was that?” Saotru leaned forward slightly “Says the man who’s seeking his ex out while she’s on a date with her boyfriend.” He muttered under his breath loud enough for you to hear. Satoru glanced behind him to look at you “Ready to head out babe?”
You nodded quickly wanting to get as far away from that man as possible.
“It was so nice talking to you. I’d ask for your name, but to be quite frank. I really could care less.” Satoru dismissed the man turning around positioning you in front of him as you both walked down the beach. He was feeling quite protective of the fact you were definitely still being watched by him, not wanting him to catch even a glimpse of you any further. You paused once you both were far enough away turning to look up at Satoru.
“I’m really sorry you had to deal with that.”
Satoru quickly shook his head “It was really not a problem. I’m glad I was able to be here for you.”
You could feel the fear that was overtaking your body from seeing your ex slowly being replaced with the love you were feeling for Satoru in that moment. A gentle smile formed again as you stood on your tip toes to place a soft kiss on his cheek.
“Let me know if he bothers you again.” Satoru ruffled your hair a bit.
“I will.” You nodded quickly as the two of you continued to walk down the beach.
“Look at the Tigers!” You grabbed his hand pulling him over to the window of the Tiger enclosure.
Megumi just allowed you to drag him everywhere today. He had been meaning to take you on a date for so long, but between missions and classes it’s basically been a near impossible task.
“They are definitely Tigers.” He remarked watching you get overly excited by the exhibit. That was only for a fleeting moment as you got distracted very quickly by the elephants that were across the pathway. Dragging him quickly over. Megumi really didn’t mind too much seeing how happy it made you to admire the animals.
“I need to use the restroom real quick.” Megumi mentioned as you were admiring the baby elephant running around the enclosure.
You nodded, waving him off as he quickly walked to the restroom adjacent to the exhibit. Completely distracted admiring the baby elephant you felt a small tap on your shoulder a few minutes later, assuming it was Megumi you turned around.
“Babe, check out what the elephant is doing now!” Your face instantly soured when you realized it wasn’t Megumi, but in fact your ex boyfriend. “Oh. Aoi.”
“Hey, I couldn’t help but notice you earlier.” Todo smiled looking you up and down. “You look good. Real good.” He smirked slightly.
You looked back towards the bathrooms in hopes to catch a glimpse of Megumi exiting, sadly you didn’t see him. Turning your attention back to Todo who was just stupidly standing there.
“Did you miss me?” He remarked taking a step closer.
Taking a step back, your voice began shaking a bit “No. I didn’t.”
“Aw come on. Don’t act so cold towards me.” Todo cooed.
You felt a familiar hand grab your wrist suddenly, turning around sharply you saw Megumi standing behind you.
“Gumi.” You felt a weight lifted off your shoulder at the mere sight of him. Thankful that he returned when he did. Megumi noticed how relieved you looked when you saw him.
“Everything alright?” He glanced between you and Todo.
“Long time no see sea urchin head.” Todo remarked.
Megumi sighed, rolling his eyes. Before sarcastically saying “Todo, always a delight.”
“Is he bothering you?” Megumi glanced back over at you. Megumi already knew the answer to that, but he wasn’t really wanting to get involved until he could confirm it. You nodded slightly.
“We are actually on a date right now.” Megumi mentioned to Todo.
Todo’s eyes widened slightly, that was something he wasn’t expecting. “Is that true?” His gaze directed towards you now.
Nodding nervously Todo chuckled, “And here I was. Seeing if I could spark an old flame.”
A response that was quite unusual for a man as angry as him, your body trembling in fear waiting for what was going to happen next.
“Well you can’t.” Megumi was getting more annoyed by the second feeling your grip tighten on his arm. “We are leaving.” He stated boldly dragging you away before things could escalate. Todo watched as Megumi guided you away from him. “Are you alright?”
Your vision was continuously scanning for any sight of the large man following you two. “I’m sorry Megumi.”
Shaking his head he moved his free hand to rest on your face, gently rubbing his thumb against your cheek. He could feel you still slightly trembling under his touch. He could see small dots of tears forming in the corner of your eyes. “He’s gone now.” Megumi whispered.
You whispered apologizing to him again. Knowing how much he hated confrontation “I’m sorry.”
Megumi shook his head “Don’t be sorry. It’s not your fault. After all of that I’m assuming he is your ex?”
“Yeah. We’ve been broken up for about a year.”
“You don’t need to say anymore.” Megumi sighed, already having a sneaking suspicion of what may have caused it to end. “Do you still want to see the rest of the animals?” He was trying to deflect from the prior situation with something he knew would make you happy. Sniffling you quietly mumbled
“Can we go look at the baby elephant again?”
Megumi nodded “Anything sweet girl. If he comes back around I won’t hesitate to kick his ass. It’s a promise.”
You smiled softly, pushing his arms to his sides and giving him a large hug “Thank you Gumi.”
“Of course. I’d do anything to protect you and keep you safe.” He whispered into your ear low so nobody around could hear him. Wrapping his arms tightly around you. A rare sweet moment from the normally stoic man.
“Dance with me Romi.” You drunkenly leaned your head on his shoulder.
“Doll, you know I don’t dance.” He chuckled slightly at your request.
“Pleeeease Romi?” You pouted slightly, something that the normally stoic lawyer couldn’t refuse. The idea of being on the dance floor filled his body with anxiety as he’s only had one drink at this point.
“No doll. I’ll stay here and watch.” He smiled, placing a soft kiss on your forehead. “I’d embarrass you anyway.”
You shook your head adamantly “but you’d be sooooo cute.”
He pondered for a moment before answering “I think you have me beat in that category. I see your argument, but I still respectfully have to decline.”
Groaning and getting up from the booth you turned your head towards him “promise you’ll watch me?”
Hiromi nods “of course. Gotta make sure my pretty girl doesn’t get whisked away by someone.”
He smiled watching you walk to the dance floor beginning to dance with a group of girls. You were having the time of your life, eyes closed and just feeling the music boarding through your body.
“(Y/N)? Is that you?” A familiar tone rang through your ear. It had been so long you had forgotten whose voice it belonged to until you turned around seeing your ex Toji. You could feel the fear instantly cover your body. Unable to speak and just frozen in place until he spoke another word “Long time no see.”
You just nodded, a look of pure terror etched into your drunken face. If you were sober you’d probably run off by now, or had given him a piece of your mind. Now currently you were just stuck
“I’ve missed you a lot.” He took a step closer, you could feel his hot breath on your forehead. Wishing, hoping and praying at this moment that Hiromi would see coming over to put a stop to this situation.
“Come on now? Use your words.” Toji snaked his hand around your waist. You just shook your head.
“Hands off.” Hiromi approached, completely unaware of who this man was.
“And you are?” Toji looked him up and down “some old geezer who has eyes on my girl?”
That made Hiromi want to lose all of his composure, but he kept the anger at bay just glancing down at you. Seeing how terrified you looked in that moment.
“Her boyfriend.” Hiromi’s voice became more stern, and elevated in volume a bit.
Toji just laughed looking down at you “come on now. He’s not being serious is he?”
Hiromi managed to catch him off guard, able to pull you back into his arms. He saw the tears that had been streaming down your face.
“Sweet girl. I should’ve danced with you.” He muttered before looking back up at Toji. “If it’s in your best interest and it most certainly is. You need to leave her alone.”
Toji’s face soured, whipping his arm out to try and reach for you once more. Hiromi stopped him by grabbing his wrist firmly, completely catching him off guard.
“What the fuck.” Toji spat. “Fine (Y/N). Call me when the geezer gets tired of your shit.”
You both watched as he walked back up to the bar sitting down and ordering another drink.
“Let’s get out of here.” Hiromi muttered, guiding you out of the crowded bar. You were more quiet than normal and Hiromi noticed it almost immediately.
“Are you doing okay?” He asked stopping next to the car.
You shook your head slowly “I really wanted to dance.”
Hiromi chuckled slightly, “when we get back to my place I’ll turn some music on and we can dance as long as you want. No interruptions, just you and me.”
Your head lifted quickly “you don’t have-“
Hiromi shook his head “best not to argue with a lawyer. Besides, I have a bottle of wine in my fridge. It might help this ‘old geezer’ loosen up a bit.” He chuckled after finishing his sentence.
You chuckled in response feeling a little bit better. “Thanks Romi.”
“I’m here for you. Always.” He placed a quick kiss on your lips, opening the car door helping you get inside. A small smile appeared on your lips as he got into the driver’s seat leaving the parking lot promptly.
Choso had wanted to surprise you with a one year anniversary date at an expensive restaurant deep in the heart of the city. He’d fully picked out a dress for you, booked a hair and makeup appointment. He wanted you to feel as beautiful as he thought you were. Even going so far as to arrange an uber to take you to the restaurant after getting your hair done. Choso had been on his phone eagerly watching your location as he saw your little bubble approaching the restaurant, he slipped his phone in his pocket eagerly waiting to greet you outside. Choso’s jaw was basically on the floor when he saw you for the first time leaving the car. The city lights reflecting off the sparkly dress he’d chosen for you. Walking up you could feel the stares of the passerby’s walking past the restaurant until your eyes ultimately landed on Choso.
“Do I look okay?” You asked looking up at him.
Choso was almost at a loss for words, but managed to mutter out “yes. Absolutely beautiful. I can’t even think of all the words to describe you.” He pulled you closer to him “Happy anniversary sweetheart.”
Looking up into his eyes that were truly only looking at you “happy anniversary Cho.”
“Are you ready for dinner?” He smiled, placing a kiss on the top of your head, doing his best not to smudge your makeup. You nodded eagerly as he guided you into the restaurant following the waitress to your seat. After a while you both had ordered drinks and were just waiting on the food order to be placed. You and Choso couldn’t take your eyes off of each other. Legs tangled underneath the table. The waiter came up to take your order before glancing down and seeing you “(Y/N)?”
You felt your heart drop when you looked up seeing your ex boyfriend holding the pen and paper.
“It’s me.” You sighed, glancing over at Choso who was genuinely interested in how the waiter knew your name. You had your fists clenched underneath the table out of sight attempting to keep your composure.
“Long time no see. You definitely look like you are doing well.” He glanced over at you in your seat. Choso noticed instantly glancing up at the waiter, his general sweet demeanor being overtaken by his protective nature. Nodding quickly you glanced over at Choso, his soft smile unwavering towards you.
“So what can I get you?” The man continued to ignore Choso’s presence, making you feel even more uncomfortable.
“We will actually order this.” Choso pointed to the menu catching the man off guard. Choso could see how uncomfortable you were in this situation, and wanted to ease the burden as much as possible. From the things you’d told him in the past he wasn’t a good man.
“Yeah.” The man nodded, turning his attention towards you again. “(Y/N), you know it's probably not good for a woman's figure to order a meal of that proportion.”
Choso could feel his anger bubble up in his chest, ready to explode at any moment.
“I’ll just change it to the salad for you, I’m sure your boyfriend won’t mind. Cheaper on the bill too.” He was smug, beginning to write it down before Choso finally snapped.
“Actually don’t do that.” Choso said as calmly as possible. “She’s perfect the way she is, and she doesn’t need a nobody like you. Telling her what she should and shouldn’t be eating.”
You quickly glanced over at him feeling a small warmth brewing in your chest. Choso continued.
“Actually, just cancel our orders. We don’t need to be treated like this. Come on (Y/N).” Choso stood up, placing some money on the table “For the drinks.” Choso grabbed your hand gently guiding you out of the restaurant.
“Cho, you’d been planning this for so long. I don’t want to be the one to ruin this.” You softly pleaded.
“You didn’t ruin anything. It was that god awful man.” Choso snarled. “You don’t deserve to be talked down to like that. We can go get some chinese food.”
“Are you sure?” You asked nervously.
Choso stopped in the middle of the sidewalk pulling you closer to him looking down into your eyes. “Babe. I’m sure. The way he was talking down to you wasn’t right. I’d be much happier at some rundown place with a smile on your face. Rather than some dumb restaurant where that ‘man’ works, if that’s what you could even call him.” Choso sighed “You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. It’s our anniversary. I want to enjoy it with you instead of dealing with that.” A soft kiss was placed on your forehead, he chuckled. “Besides, they always give us free egg rolls at the Chinese place. Those are your favorite.”
You softly smiled “Okay you’ve convinced me.”
Choso let go of you hesitating slightly before grabbing your hand again. “You really do look stunning tonight. I’m glad you are going home with me tonight, and not some other loser.”
“Aw Cho. I wouldn’t dream of it.” You smiled as you walked side by side to the restaurant.
