Montaseaul Charity Gala 

The royals were out and about in the stardom city of Del Sol Valley. The gala is one of fame and popularity, with members of the royal family attending annually, especially when there is talks of a tiara being sent to auction! 

In attendance was Queen Consort Marie-Claire, who was joined by Her Royal Majesty, Queen Alma of Simovia. The two were seen chatting away as they entered the venue, looking as radiant as ever. Marie-Claire wore a stunning emerald coloured gown with white snowflake embellishments. Whereas Queen Alma wore a gorgeous mourning gown and matching choker. The two seem to be very close as they talked away. Many say they completely snubbed the Duchess behind them. 

Duchess Clélie of Vissard, for the first time without her husband, walked behind the two Queens. She wore a gorgeous silk ruby red gown and paired it with the Vissard Order and her signature crown, the Vissard Pearl Tiara. When stopped for a quick interview she answered: 

Interviewer: Hi Duchess Clelie, how are you finding your first enagement with the Queen? I feel as though it’s the perfectly place to get to know her, right? 

Clelie: Well, that depends. I do miss my husband and I wish he was by my side tonight to keep me company. I know Marie-Claire well enough already, we probably won’t have chance to speak tonight

Interviewer: That’s too bad, I did get a glance at that necklace? It’s stunning! Do you mind sharing where its from?

Clelie: A dear friend bought me it as a sign of friendship. That’s all. I thought it paired well with the dress.. Now I really must be going. 

We really don’t know what to think about the Duchess and The Queen. Maybe the two are heated and don’t get on? Is there drama in the royal family?

Back in Time: A Royal Wedding

Years ago, King Albert of Montaseul met Marie-Claire. A commoner, and the first one to be married into the royal family.

Queen Consort Marie-Claire Spends the Day at Local Schools

Today the Queen Consort has been to a few local schools in the city of Leron. HM attended a few history classes and event lead a few for the children to learn. It’s no secret that history is very close to her heart, after attending university for history and performing a few trips to historic centres around the globe. Now she is aiming to teach children that history can be fun!

Queen Dowager Adélaïde spotted with new pup!

Everyone knows that Queen Dowager Adélaïde loves her dogs! She has had a few dogs in her lifetime, more so after her husband died. The Queen Dowager mostly rescues her dogs from her patron,  Beaufont Dog Rescue and Care Centre.

Her current dogs are, Scotch the Border Collie. Scotch is sort of a lazy dog, as described in his rescue bio, he enjoys sleeping most of the days and eating. However, when he wants to be he’s quite inquisitive and loves to be around people. 

Then we have Biscuit the Bichon Frise. Biscuit was also adopted from the Beaufont Dog Rescue and Care Centre. Her Majesty adopted her when she was visiting the centre to award them The Adelaide Care Foundation Check. Biscuit is known to be a cheeky dog that likes getting her owners attention. She is often seen out with the Queen Dowager, whether she’s in her arms or being taken on a walk.

Then we have her newest addition, as seen on the photo above with the Queen Dowager. She is a Shetland Sheepdog and is known as Cici. It is said that the Queen Dowager adopted her a few days ago, after a surprise visit to the dog rescue. The Queen Dowager apparently caught the eye of this pup and wanted to give her a forever home. It’s nice to see the HRM still caring for new dogs in her old age!

Royal Houses

Its no secret that the royal family have some amazing houses that they live in. Here are the two houses that we are showcasing today.

The first is the Palace of Vissard, where the Duke and Duchess of Vissard live. The bright house is said to be going through modernisation, as it is one of the longest standing buildings in Montaseul. It boasts 8 bedrooms, 3 sitting rooms, a large dining room and indoor swimming pool.

Here is Montaseul royal palace, home to the current King and his family. The palace features a large ballroom and dining room, perfect for hosting royals from abroad. 

Today, the royal family, dress in red, stood upon the balcony of the palace to mark the anniversary of royal family. It marks nearly 100 years since the family took the crown of Montaseul. The family has strong ties with it’s people. Many gathered at the palace gates to catch a glimpse of the royals.

Prince Pierre, Duke of Vissard 

Prince Pierre is the youngest son of King Jean III and Queen Consort Adélaïde. He was 14 when his father passed away and when his brother ascended to the throne. 

Prince Pierre, in his youth, was a party prince. He enjoyed flouting his duties as Prince to go to the next big party. This caused his mother to advise him to join the military for a few years, to get a sense of duty. The Prince argued his case, however he eventually did join the air force, finding a new sense of pride in being a pilot. He spent ten years in the air force, before returning to active royal life. At that time he was around 28 and met Clelie Beafort. A very high standing women in the nobility circles. The two dated in private for a year before announcing their engagement to the world. It’s now been 4 years since their marriage, and the Prince still hasn’t produced a heir. It is rumoured that the couple in infertile, however the palace has said that they are waiting for the right time. 

When he was married, his brother granted him a dukedom. He became the Duke of Vissard. 

The Prince doesn’t hold many patrons, however those he does are close to his heart. He is the patron of the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, often making visits and taking part in active military life. 

Clélie, Duchess of Vissard

Born Clelie Beafort, she was born to a quite wealthy family. This helped them get into the inner circles of nobility. Clelie was quite private in her life before she was a noble, however photos circulate online of her attending fashion shows around the world and hanging around with celebrities from Del Sol Valley. Many Montaseul people believe that she is quite stuck up, this helps with the fact that she has refused to talk to people before due to their social status. 

When she met the Prince Pierre, she was living off her father’s inheritance and apparently has not worked a day in her life. However, she did find love with the Prince Pierre.

Crown Princess Ingrid Adélaïde Elise of Montaseul

Crown Princess Ingrid is the only child of King Albert and Queen Marie-Claire. She has often been kept away from the spotlight, in order to grow up away from the cameras. However, she is known for liking the limelight. She is often out with friends in night clubs, just so paparazzi can score the ‘rare photo of the Princess’ 

However, she is also very king hearted and dedicated to her role, the Crown Princess understands her life will never be normal and from when she started her teenage year, she has been taught by her father on how to rule. 

The Crown Princess has had many male suitors in the past, with none lasting more than a week. The people of Montaseul feel as though she scares potential suitors off with how dedicated to her work she is. They feel she may shun them away until she has time. However, a Crown Princess always has something to do.

Queen Dowager Adélaïde of Montaseul

The Queen Dowager was born, Lady Adélaïde Fournier and was the daughter of the Duke and Duchess Fournier. She grew up being quite close to the royal family, and attended the same events as they did. Lady Adélaïde was in an arranged marriage between the then Prince Jean III. However, it was said that the two were quite fond of each other. The Prince even took her out on a date the night before they were due to be wed, to show that he cared deeply about her. 

Once married, Adélaïde and Prince Jean waited five years before she gave birth to her eldest son, the current King Albert. Then two years after that, she bore another son, Prince Pierre. 

She reigned alongside her husband as Queen Consort up until he died. She now lives in Machelle manor, with her dogs and likes to live a quiet life. She rarely comes into the public eye, only really for state events or affairs. She has also given up most of her patrons apart from one, the Beaufont Dog Rescue and Care Centre. Animas are close to Her Royal Highness’ heart.

First we have the current King and Queen Consort of Montaseul. 

King Albert

The current reigning King is King Albert, the first of his name. He is the son of King Jean III. When the king sadly passed away a few months after King Albert turned 16, he became king. One of the youngest reining monarchs of Montaseul. His coronation was held at the Châtimeur Cathedral, the same place he was married. 

 The King has now reigned for 20 years and is adored by his people. 

When we was 32, the King met Marie-Claire Bennard, daughter of The Honourable Judge, Henri Bennard. The two were wed a few years later, then a year after the wedding they had a daughter and named her Crown Princess Ingrid Adélaïde Elise of Montaseul. They then decided to not have anymore children, due to the stress it caused Queen Consort Marie-Claire. 

Queen Consort Marie-Claire

Born to The Honourable Judge, Henri Bennard and Clémence Bennard, the current Queen Consort was born as a commoner. However, the family was quite wealthy and did have similar circles to the royal family. 

When she was younger she attended Queen Victoire University, and got firsts in History. She had been a big fan of finding out interesting things in the past and writing about them. She released a book detailing Montaseul in the Victorian times, and how life has evolved since then. 

However, her career and life goals all changed when she met King Albert. She fell in love with the King and taught herself how to become a ‘proper’ royal. A few years after meeting, the two were wed in Châtimeur Cathedral. Then a year later, she gave birth to their daughter, The Crown Princess Adélaïde Elise of Montaseul. Due to difficulties in her pregnancy, the Queen Consort didn’t bear anymore children. 

The Queen Consort Marie-Claire has many patrons to do with history, such as the Montaseul History Research Group and the Montaseul National Museum. She has also taken on the Vissard Tennis Group, as she is a keen fan of tennis.
