Monster Hunter Stuff

Still grinding the Seregios, I have the GS and Hammer Sergios weapons and 3 parts of the armour.  Nearly there, so have a lovely picture of the inside of a Pink Rathian.

Here we go, on my way to 9* Caravan quests!

Finally got a Rathalos on it’s own in a quest (The Hero and the Fiery King, Caravan, 8*), and I only have to grind it 758 times to get the stuff I need for the armour set.  Although I’m considering the Najarala set as well...anybody know which is better?

Since I’m currently trying not to cry after a Seltas Queen destroyed me when it was probably one hit away from being defeated, here’s a picture of me chilling with my Zinogre bro.

Finally got round to getting some caravan quests done, finally defeated the Cephalos.  Wanting to move the story on a bit, so hoping that I can get far enough ahead that I can get a Rathalos on its own in High Rank.

So, I managed to do a couple of the quests for the Cowardly Palico which you unlock when you reach HR4 and HR5.  In honour of my victory, have a picture of a knocked over Nerscylla.

To unlock the quests in HR5 which have a Rathalos, I need to complete to quests: one which involves me hunting a Najarala AND a Rathian, and another which involves me hunting a Red Khezu.  As much as I hate Khezu’s, I’m doing that one first, since it is miles easier.

After so many failed attempts, I have finally beaten the Pink Rathian for the urgent quest!  I’m now HR5 in the guild, and I am going to be trying to farm the Rathalos now.

So I was hunting a Purple Gypceros for the HR4 Guild quest (it’s a key quest, by the way), and this thing came lumbering out of the poison swamp.  I have no idea what it is...

So, I was doing the first of the event DLCs (the ones which are 3 quests done one after the other, I think they are given out to you after downloading them by old characters), and was forced to use a rarity-1 weapon...which is a big change from my Zinogre hammer.  While hunting for the cat things which drop secret stashes, I stumbled out into the desert.  Say what you want about the 3DS graphics, I think this game looks amazing.
