Why there is a need of car insurance and travel insurance for any road trip?
Imagine, its one fine summer day and you’re sitting in your home, under the fan and watching television. The heat outside in your city is outrageous, so you don’t even feel like stepping out. Just as you get comfortable in your sofa, switching channels, you receive a call from your friend. He asks, if you’re home and what are your plans for the day while you tell him how free you are. The next thing you know while your sipping cold drink, your doorbell rings. A bunch of your friends show up at your place, with bags packed and tell you that, they all have planned a trip to the nearest hill station to beat the heat and have some fun. You get all excited and rush inside to pack your bags too and get ready when they tell you that half of your friends will go by your car and that you would have to drive. At first you hesitated, but then you were convinced.
So, all of you’ll sit and start the journey. After 2hrs of drive, you’ll plan to halt at a hotel and have something. After half an hour when you guys come out, you see your car is missing and it’s not in the same spot where you parked it. After searching everywhere, you realize that your car had just been robbed. You were not prepared for this. That’s when your friend tells you not to worry and that your car insurance will take care of it for you. But that’s when you tell them that you don’t even have a car insurance. They all look at you with a judgmental look, with the same thought in everyone’s mind that how could you have not bought a car insurance for yourself. Just then you realize that all your belonging and your luggage which was also in the car, is gone. The worst part is, at this point you also don’t even have a travel insurance to save you. That’s when you start panicking and feel bad about not have purchasing car and travel insurance.
That’s when you regret not taking one!! Imagine if you had a car insurance and travel insurance at this point, your ruined trip could have been saved for everyone and would have costed you so much less, but now that you do not have it, you do not know what to do. All you know is that you have lost so much and that there is no going back this time. But now its too late to regret, don’t you think?
