Bodies scattered about everywhere. Where any of them dead? Knocked out? Didnât know. Didnât want to bother finding out really. Wasnât particularly concerned whether any of these monsters would get up as theyâd be met with a bullet to the head before even realizing what just happened.
Itâs definitely a strange scene, but not one the Boss was all that surprised with. Lots of people on the island were incredibly tough, and so it wouldnât be all that far-fetched to say that someone had made short work of these idiots. If anything it made his job easier at least despite the want to fight more.
â Jesus, thereâs so many of them. â he mutters under his breath.
As he continues to make his way towards what he assumes to be the entrance to one of those wires (given how many of these beasts were scattered around in the first place), a certain figure just several feet away happens to catch his eye. Now while the mask is certainly helping keep his identity a secret, at the same time itâs unfortunately limiting his vision. Something that should have been expected given his lack of skills in creating such things.
Yet as he continues to walk forward the figure in question starts to become much more clear. There just a few feet away from him was quite the familiar man, one heâs spoken to a number of times before. Considering the mess left behind he shouldâve expected him of all people to be the cause of it. Itâs almost a relief to come across the former Yakuza member squatting nearby.
Sadly this sense of relief would only last so long. For you see, while the Boss is more than aware of just who Majima is and how he acts, the same canât be said for the other man.

Majima lost track of just how many beasts he had mowed down at the access point he had taken watch over. He expected to be confronted by groups of people lured to the wires by way of false promises or a sense of righteous glory. Instead it was a hotbed for beasts that failed to even scratch the Mad Dog.
Thanks to his efforts the area around the access point was a little safer, but Majima wondered just how many potential Island Stars or NULL cronies were scared away from their respective missions at the sight of all these bodies, and how many more wouldâve been torn to shreds if he hadnât shown up. The entire reason he set up shop by the wires was to see the resolve of the people of Spirale, but he was starting to wonder if they actually gave a shit at all, or if they were all just talk.
As boredom and disappointment began to creep in, a mysterious man suddenly made his approach toward the access point. He assumed it was a man from their build, anyway, as their head was covered by an iron mask that look amateurishly crafted. The man seemed unfazed by the monsters that lay motionless on the floor (whether that was because of boldness or poor visibility because of the mask was uncertain) and simply stared at Majima, greeting him with a stony silence. The manâs intimidating vibes felt very nostalgic, somehow.
His tone was gruff, and he remained in his squatting position with his bat held over his shoulder.
âYou got business down there?â His head jerked toward the access point. "Who sent ya, the cloaks or the stars?"
