Cornelius used to have short hair, but when he joined the temple, he started growing it out. There's a certain trend in the temple for long hair; even men grow it long. He doesn't know the reasons, and simply imitates the others (he doesn't want to ask, lest others think he doesn't know enough about their religion (he doesn't know enough about their religion)). Cornelius actually dislikes his long hair because it takes time to maintain, but he keeps it anyway because he wants to be like the other temple members. And yes, if the other temple members jump off a cliff, he'll jump too lol There's a little bonus under the cut.
