In my mind itager works best in nations/immortal aus (so basically og aus?) since TRUST they take forever and wver and ever to realize they love eachother and after Boun San Valentino TRUST Germany will NOT be doing amy confessing. This mean that responsibility would be left on Feli and he would take like a good few decades to even consider it. And like between that tome they sorta GOTTA work on themselves because otherwise its just kinda one-sided on Germany and he's basically just babysitting a man child 😭 Like Italy loves him but he loves EVERYBODY and Germany would feel too guilty and thinks trying to date him would be selfish for hogging him and shit and wouldn't even consider any of Feli's flirting to be serious because who tf would date HIM? Feli's too good for him (he isn't) and also because deadass most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference and definitely not Luddys emotionally unintelligent ass. Its the slowest slowburn ever and everyone around them is frusterated. Its because of this pov it is MANDATORY for Feli to compliment Germany every day all day (but it has to be thoughtfully divided throughout the day or else Germany explodes and is left unresponsive for a whole 10 minutes) He does all that fluffy shit as an apology for flirting and going on so many dates with girls infront of Germany before they were official. Like ALL the fluffy shit. He draws him and cooks for him and he's like that guy that loves his wife a little too much sometimes and embarrasses her but its okay because he's sorry and he PROMISES not to do it again (actually a lot of wife guys end up cheating on their wives so maybe not the best example, whatever). OKAY I GOT ON A MASSIVE RANT BUT BACK ON TOPIC. Because of these factors of the itager equation it is very difficult to get itager in a human au because they're gonna be DEAD by the time feli even realizes it. Not to say human au itager is bad by default, quite the opposite, when its good it HITS THE SPOT!!! Its just it needs minor adjustments and replacement variables to make itager itager...ya know?? Am I going crazy???

Would it be bad to say I prefer fan content of hetalia characters more than the actual show sometimes or nah? Like don't get me wrong hetalia fans are as infamous as the source material but I prefer their versions of the characters when its funny

I tend to forget hetalia characters are based off actual sterotypes of countries and not random people with weird names at times.

You never realize how inconvenient incorrect tagging is until you see your VERY specific fav pairing in the wrong order under their distinct tag.

I feel like Italy wouldn't be that flexible. Maybe theres some manga panel that contradicts this in some way, but I think he'd be a guy who couldn't touch his toes or stand on one foot (though thats more of a balance thing). Maybe he was able to like a few centuries ago but isn't able to now.

No one talks about how amazing blocking people is. Like one wrong opinion and I push you out of my life, device, and peripheral vision. Idk why people act like I'm killing their grandma about it. Protecting my peace has never been better 😌
