Just because the past didn’t turn out like you wanted it to, doesn’t mean your future can’t be better than you’ve ever imagined.

When you lose something, don’t think of it as a loss; accept it as the gift that gets you on the path you were meant to travel on.

Surround yourself with positive people who will support you during your bad days, not just your good ones.

It’s okay if nothing makes sense to you right now. Just keep moving forward. Some things will only become clear in hindsight.

Forgiving yourself is as important as forgiving others. Guilt is toxic, re-living the mistake over and over. Love yourself. Forgive yourself.

It’s hard to trust someone whose feelings change like the seasons.

Explaining your feelings to someone is never easy.

I think it’s very important to get away from where you’ve grown up for some time in your life and go explore.

Many nights I’ve fallen asleep pen in hand and a notebook by my side. Trying to desperately capture what made you so real in this terribly false world, yet sleep took me and dreams clutched tightly. Until I only realized that as much as you cannot capture the beauty of a dream on paper you cannot capture her in words.

I’m not where I want to be but it’s better than where I was.

Defend your beliefs by living accordingly, not by attacking the beliefs of others.

Believe in yourself. When you give up, you are giving up on you. If you are alive at this moment you can do anything you want to.

We all mess up sometimes. Don’t forget all the good someone has done, just because they made a mistake. Everyone is learning and growing.

You can’t control how other people see you or think of you… and you have to be comfortable with that.
