A project about autonomous typography. Autonomous typography for me is typography that is in service of the image. The image tells the word(s) and not the word(s) that are seen in it. So in this project i picked three words and i made forms of it. These forms and the material i used are telling the word. This is all comes together in a book.

I want to do something with the S and the Z in the name of Szanne because that is very typical for her name. I made a grid of triangles because that is a form that she very liked. I based the S and the Z on the grid of triangles.

Is the designer is still necessary? A question that I came across in my research into design. A disturbing question if you yourself are a designer. The position of the designer is under pressure at this time , there will be a year when there are so many designers and you as "new" designer in between that. 

A portrait serie about water. Water for me is all about silence. If you are in the water everything is slow and the sound is much more soft. So i made portrait of someone who is in the silence of water, with bubbles on the surface. The surface stands for the loud an busy world.
