My WIP this Wednesday is another mermaid tail hat for pattern testing. It looks like I need another ball of yarn before I can go much further, though! I can't wait to get this pattern written up and out into the world.

My mom loves the primitive/country/Americana style, so I made this ragged Christmas tree skirt for her. She picked the fabrics, and I went to work. I personally hate it, but it's not for me 😆 and it was fun to make.

My newest WIP is a crocheted virus baby blanket. It's in Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn, which I really do love. It's my favorite acrylic yarn, especially for blankets. That darker grey color in the center is called Greybeard and I think I've used it in every crocheted blanket I've made since Hobby Lobby came to town.

I haven’t finished any projects this week, so here’s a throwback to the mermaid tail hat I made this past spring. It’s almost fall, meaning she’ll get to wear this very soon! I’ve been working on writing the pattern and testing all the different sizes from newborn to adult large. Keep a lookout if you crochet because it will be available soon!

Hooray for work holidays! I made two dreamcatcher blankets today, one minky front and back and the other with a cotton front and minky back. They’ll be headed to their new homes tomorrow! The double minky is SO luxurious!
