Even with his superior senses, Morgana was having trouble finding his fellow Phanton Thieves in the Hive. He had been wandering around for quite some hours now, and was beginning to believe he might truly be alone.

He was afraid, no doubt about it.

But then, a familiar smell wafted through the air- the scent of a certain vulgar boy he knew. It wasn’t long before Morgana saw the boys bleached blonde hair, sticking out above the crowd of new people.

“Hey, Skull!” the cat cried, running towards him swiftly and taking a bounding leap into his arms. “You better catch me!”

ryuji wouldn’t call himself a coward, like, he literally fought a god once. but it would be a total lie to say the second-year isn’t even a little bit freaked out by this whole hive city situation. who the heck was that scientist that greeted him? where are the other phantom thieves? he can’t even contact futaba, of all people (he’s starting to miss her silly one-liners, even if they are sorta mean sometimes).

“oh shit, no,” ryuji mutters to himself as, practically out of nowhere, a very familiar humanoid cat zooms right into his path. the impact knocks the boy right on his ass, but hey, at least he caught the little guy.

"If it was, you'd be in your thief clothes, wouldn't you? Duh." Morgana rolls his eyes at the vulgar boy, all excitement to see someone familiar gone when he remembered how poorly he actually got along with the guy.

"And don't poke my head like I'm some toy!!!" comes the hiss, paws smacking away Ryuji's invasive fingers.

Had they met under better circumstances than Morgana attempting to steal something very valuable from her, he probably would’ve been just as smitten with her as he was with Lady Ann.

But that wasn’t the case here. With the gorgeous ring right in front of his face, he cant help but mew excitedly, eyes sparkling- in fact, you could almost hear him laughing to himself.

In the blink of an eye, Morgana had changed into his bipedal form. His tiny paw quickly swiped the ring off of the hand that was oh so kindly petting him, and away he ran at full speed- but two legs are slower than four.

Did that cat just stand on two legs and take a swipe at her? Was that cat currently running away like a person would? If she hadn’t seen it with her own eye, Zal wouldn’t have believed it.

It wouldn’t have even registered with her much save for one thing: that bastard cat stole her ring! The one Gaku had given her for Christmas. Had it been acting cute to try and steal from her from the beginning? Oh, now she’s pissed.

“Get back here you asshole! Give that back!”

It probably looked strange to be chasing a cat and yelling like that, but all she was focused on was getting her precious item back. And she was quickly catching up with him, given he wasn’t going as fast as a cat on all fours might.

And to make matters worse, he could hear Zal's footsteps closing in fast. Unsure of what to do, he slips the ring into his utility belt and steps back out to face her.

"Oh, Lady Ann! I'm so glad to see you!" He meows, purring and rubbing up against her leg happily.

Morgana had managed to find his, for the lack of a better term, hut in District Epsilon.

What was the real challenge though, was getting around the city that lay above Epsilon. The elevator ride up had been short, uneventful, nothing of concern to the cat. But upon emerging, he was immediately overwhelmed with all the smells, the sights, the sounds of the bustling cities.  Familiar Japanese shrines were shoved up against other buildings of foreign architecture- it almost reminded him of the chaos of Mementos, but in a different sense.

Morgana decided to go to the smartest looking person he could see. Unfortunately, that seemed to come in the form of a ragged man with shaggy hair and cables about his shoulders.

Morgana kept a paw rested  firmly on his hip, just in case he had to get into a scrap- something about  this man was intimidating.

“Hey! Could you point me in the direction of the nearest place to eat? Im staaarving!” He said in a chipper tone, hoping to stay on the mans good side.

          Not many things surprised him. Nedzu surely didn’t when it  came to a talking animal and he learned to get ussed to it immediately afterwards. Somehow though, Morgana surprised him. It was probably the appearance, while he looked like a very small mascot. The shock, however, died quickly and he slipped a hand into his pocket as he considered the cat for a brief moment.

          “Sushi though, right?” he inquired, aware cats enjoyed fresh fish. Given this one spoke, he was probably going to offend him by suggesting cat food. Especially since Morgana asked specifically for a place to eat.

          “There’s a few shops not too far from here. If you prefer fresh fish, however, I suggest Squid Ink a few streets down. Pricey though.” Aizawa tilted his head, an eyebrow raised.

Thoughts filled with vivid imagery of pristine white rice and plump fatty tuna, Morgana almost didn't catch the question- it definitely would've been for the better if he hadn't.

"Excuse me, do I LOOK like a cat to you!?" Morgana scoffs, rolling his eyes. "I'll let you off with a warning this time, but you better believe I'm a bonafide human!"

He stamps a paw on the ground.

"I am Morgana, not some lousy cat!"
