"Babe, I think I am getting sick!" Oh how I want to run to the nearest exit when I hear these dreaded words come out of my husband's mouth. Last night I literally got 2 hours of sleep in between him trying to cuddle his hot fevered sick infested body with mine and his crying noises everytime he moved. You would have thought he was hit by a train the way he was crying. All the while I have had the same bug the past 2 days and still have to function at everyday life as he calls out of work and gets to lay in bed all day calling out his needs as if I was a personal bedside nurse. "Don't mind the kids running around trying to kill each other, bring me some ice water" seriously?! Is it that hard to get up and get water when you have a stuffy nose? Do your legs give out when you cough? Guhhhhh!!!!!! Why do men say women are the weaker sex when they act like they have stage 4 cancer over a cold?! Take notes guys, you are worse than children when you're sick, your wife is not your personal nurse (especially if she herself is sick), you're not going to die, and for the love of God pick up your used tissues yourself!!
